Flowers will not spawn in sand. So if you were to pick the petals from a flower that’s planted in sand, you’d have to transplant the flower to dirt or grass and the petals will come back. I put a load of flowers all over my beaches to get them to stop self breeding. I felt like I was drowning in flowers.

Quick Question -

When it comes to water, I know a pond will spawn different fish to a river. But what constitutes a pond? Does it have to be unconnected to rivers/waterfalls/the ocean? How many different variations are there in water masses?

@GoldenBoy Yes, a pond needs to be unconnected to rivers/waterfalls/the ocean.
There these are the different water masses that can have fish:
1. Pond
2. River
3. River (Clifftop) - elevated river (will also have River fish)
4. River (Mouth) - the rocky area where the river meets the sea (will also have River fish)
5. Sea
6. Pier - fish very close to the wooden dock on either the West or East beach of your island (will also have Sea fish)

my highest turnip price for the week will be 272 today. had hoped for better but glad to have sold my turnips at a profit.

The Nooklings are selling an arcade mahjong game on my island if anyone is interested. its 64,000 bells so I don't want to spend my bells on it atm. If you'd like to come buy it let me know.

@Lard_Bucket I didn’t know that you could catch different fish at those locations, thanks. I always assumed if it was freshwater like a river, pond or lake the fish would all spawn the same. Now I am going to have to fish around to see if I catch anything new. Also if there is any procrastinators who haven’t sold heir turnips I am about to hit my peak on a large spike at noon (eastern time US) and will post a dodo code for anyone who wants to sell.
