I got the final HHA award this morning. It seems that I only needed 150k so my current score of 250k+ is completely unnecessary... hahahah

@BenAV later today would be great if you are free. I even changed the flower pattern so they were packed very densely. Saw a video that recommended it as the number of open spaces doesn’t increase the chances of two flowers breeding. Open spaces are just needed for offspring to grow. I hope that’s correct. Makes sense to me

@meeto_1 what do you want in return for the bamboo lattice fence recipe? Anything you’re looking for in particular?

@cooldude99 have the recipe for you but can’t post it because I have never traveled to your island. I don’t really need anything at the moment. Would u mind watering a few flower beds?

Actually it’s not just blue roses. I’m trying to grow a few cross breeds including black cosmos, blue and purple windflowers and pansies.

I have tons of hyacinth because I like the way they look but when it rains its slightly annoying to dig up all the new flowers. I am considering making a transparent pattern to apply adjacent to my flowers that I do not want to multiply so that they cannot.

@Lard_Bucket i got tired of hyacinths for that very reason, each time it rains i got a spate of new ones. I sold >100 of them recently to clear up space for other things.

@cooldude99 this is my first Animal crossing and I was pleasantly surprised by how deep the mechanics are for flowering. It actually resembles Mendelian genetics which I think is a really cool touch (if not insanely geeky)

@Lard_Bucket I don’t have it! There is some variation on what recipes nook gives you when you welcome your first residents. Could you please grab a copy from the resident so I can pick it up later? I really wanted it but never can get it.

@meeto_1 Interesting, I had thought that only the fruit recipe were adjusted to match the native fruit.
