Who at Nintendo decided that "over abundance of trees" was a thing? I asked Isabel about my town rating, and she said there were too many trees, and that my island had a "rural" look, and I'm thinking, "But that's the whole point! I WANT a rural looking town!" So I guess I'm going to be stuck at a 4-star rating, because I refuse to remove any of my trees. In fact, I plan on adding more!
@Mountain_Man My island is just below "too rural" but still 5 star. I suggest adding ponds/lakes/rivers to keep the rural feel. Something else you could try is having a bunch of tree stumps (they are not counted as trees)
@Pink_Yoshi not going to lie, because I work full time and run a very small side business of my own being forced to stop has been kind of welcomed. I’m fortunate because the club I operate out of for my own business has suspended my rent. I feel for the majority who have business landlords threatening them. What is happening at the moment is out of my control so I’m only embracing the positive notes. Rest is definitely one of them.
Glad to hear that everything is ok for you, that's definitely very fortunate indeed! I'm thankful that I have my job and we're able to work from home, my team are all really good so we've all worked from home whilst staying in close contact with each other over various platforms. Its still lonely to work alone in the house though!

Definitely seems silly to have lots of trees to have a negative effect on your score. Personally I have got rid of some of my trees as there were just too many but I understand your wanting to have a rural looking town.

My other games on the Switch are definitely getting neglected because of AC. I really want to catch up on BoTW, Yoshi, Odyssey and Luigi's Mansion. Not enough hours in the day!
