@Pink_Yoshi It's been a while but your island was just fine the last time I was there. It doesn't need anything really extravagant to look nice. In a lot of ways I actually prefer simpler islands.
Aw thanks, that's kind of you! I have made some changes since you were last at my island but I'm going to change the changes I made as I've thought of a better idea for the entrance!
I've not had Celeste to my island since you last visited but I'll let you know when she's back
@Pink_Yoshi I have slowly stopped looking so much at other islands. I use to look at a lot of them especially on YouTube. They are great for inspiration and they look amazing but most of them are rampant time travellers who have access to so many items. When you have that much choice and you can make changes in hours instead of days of course they are more likely to have nicer looking islands. Right now I like my island and I appreciate that it looks how it does with no bending of the rules. This game is relaxing but it can trigger our insecurities around our ability to create. I bet your island looks better than you think.
Thank you to you also I do think you're right. Since looking at such amazing islands on YouTube it leaves me feeling like I have no creativity whatsoever! But like you said I'm limited on items and also do not time travel. I definitely need to chill and just let construction slowly but surely take place over time. I've got my campsite basically how I'd like it and am going to work on the entrance to my island today. I don't get as much time to play my console games as I work 37 hours a week so I have to fit play time in when I get the spare time!

I have been furloughed so I have been living like a teenager this past month bar the odd team meeting catch up. That means I have sunk 300 hours into this game already! Didn’t think 2020 would look like this!

@Ronniego I just donated my last fossil so that won't be neccesary. I've still got a big stock of my own for anyone who might need any, although I reckon I may have to create a google document to be able to provide a reasonably up to date list.

Wow 300 hours! I've done 85 on mine and that's been since 2 days after release day. Have to agree 2020 is nothing like what we imagined, we couldn't have even thought that this would happen. Its weird because at New Year as I watched the fireworks I thought to myself 'What if this year turns out to be crap?!' Lol
@Pink_Yoshi not going to lie, because I work full time and run a very small side business of my own being forced to stop has been kind of welcomed. I’m fortunate because the club I operate out of for my own business has suspended my rent. I feel for the majority who have business landlords threatening them. What is happening at the moment is out of my control so I’m only embracing the positive notes. Rest is definitely one of them.
