@foxyflimflam tools are good for about 25-30 uses, if you customize the fishing pole, watering can, shovel and/or sling shot Every game start, or before it breaks, you reset the tool for another 25-30 uses. I’ve been using the same fishing pole and net for a very long time now since I received the nook miles achievement for trashing 200 tools. 600 bells each vs 2500 bells, there is no comparison. Plus, you could get nook miles for customizing. 😉
