One thing I hadn't considered in my building plans is exterior design, and now I need to figure out which villagers I want to have on my final island I don't even know if I want a cranky villager at all, they seem so bland now. Loved their "get off my lawn" attitude in NL, but the interaction I had with mine so far are just "confused old man" and it sucks.
On the plus side, I have amiibo cards for all but one villager on my tentative favorites list (not counting Raymond), so I can at least stick them in the right plots.

You should see one pop up weekly. They are rare and sell for 222 I believe. They don’t recommend selling them, instead display them proudly that you’ve created a beautiful island. I don’t believe they are used for breeding, it’s simply a pretty addition to your island. Plus you will receive the gold watering can recipe from Isabelle. Use it to water your black roses, they may eventually spawn gold roses. Congrats
I noticed something really silly with the colorful fishing rod (one with the rubber duck lure). If customized to black color the rubber duck gets angry eyes.
