@Rosamea Yep. Most of them have a few different colour variants and each island always has the same one so you need to trade with others if you want any of the other colours.
However, I have visited several islands yesterday and there were no animals whatsoever; this could be because my island is already full (with 10 villagers and one summoned to the campsite via amiibo),
Porygon did nothing wrong.

@Anti-Matter You need to have an available plot for a new resident and only 1 can be invited a day even if you have multiple plots available.
If you meet a villager on a mystery tour island and do not invite them, there will be another on the next mystery tour. Some people will burn through a ton of miles repeatedly going on mystery tours trying to find a villager they like to invite.
@Pink_Yoshi What colour streetlamps do you have on your island? I get brown ones but ended up wanting white ones so I needed to trade like 40 of them with someone who had white, haha. Eventually got more than I needed.
No private messaging here sadly. Hopefully she should see your message though otherwise just take them to her in-game when you next have the chance.
I have brown streetlamps too. I think they should have let us alter the colour of them so that it would fit into our islands.
I'm enjoying the terraforming ability, it opens up so much, I'm very glad I've moved my campsite as my first one was terrible! I'm learning as I go! lol. Next to move will be possibly the museum. And I definitely want to line my houses up but that's something for the future when I've saved up enough bells!
@BrittGOAL14 It is a long process but yes. If you have an amiibo card you can invite to the campsite assuming no one is there. They will want you to craft something for them and if you dont have the recipe they will give it to you. After giving them the item and getting a reward if you talk to them more they will show interest in moving to the island. You can ask them to move in but they will say that they are still thinking about it and to invite them to the campsite again. You do this 2 more times, then they are actually ready to move in. They will talk to nook about it and come back with the news that there is no room for them (if you have 10 villagers) and you can suggest they talk to one of your villagers about moving out. As soon as you do that, the villager you picked is already packed and ready to leave tomorrow. Next day their house is a vacant lot with a "sold" sign. Next day your amiibo villager will be unpacking.
@Lard_Bucket@BenAV Cool. Luckily I have some arriving tomorrow! I’m even more excited to use them now. I was originally just going to invite one a day for the DIYs until I had an empty lot. Glad I read that online this morning!

So I got a camper in my campsite today for the first time since I've had 10 villagers. We played a "pick a card" game a couple of times for prizes, and I'm wondering does anybody know if there is special campsite furniture and things that this is the only way to get them like there was in previous games? She offered a "guide shirt" that I've never heard of so thought that might be one, but I didn't win it. Then she offered a shirt that I know I can buy at Able Sisters (didn't win that one either). But it's always been furniture before and not clothes, I think, so I wasn't sure.
Its really cool, listing all items available etc. I'm probably waaaay behind on recommending this website but since I learned cataloging I've come across it
