@Jen10 trading is simply just trading! You give your friend something they want, and they give something back! Catalogue is a bit more complicated. When you pick an item up, it gets added to your catalogue at nook shopping (resident services). So if you simply pick something up and put it down again, you can buy it at the nook stop through nook shopping. Also note that this doesn’t work with crafted items and items redeemed with nook miles, and it will also take a day for it to get delivered

@meeto_1 we are indeed friends. The first time Bravos came up and there went something wrong. After that there were no open islands... The code works.. Strange haha. Thank you!
@Jen10 it all depends. You could trade items with people, visit their villager ho is crafting a DIY, collect fruit, flowers etc. you can’t use your shovel on anyone’s island unless they make you a “best friend.” Once you have visited an their island or someone visits yours, you become friends and can send items to one another by mailing either through the airport postcards or right from Nook Shopping. Have you heard about cataloging?
Island Visiting: if they tell you to feel free to check out their island, fish, or catch bugs, good manners are a plus. Digging up or running through their flowers most likely won’t get you invited back.
Turnips: you can purchase “turnips” on Sundays from Daisy Mae. Check your Turnip prices every day at Nooks Cranny. Like the stock market, with turnips you are playing the “stalk market” you want to buy low and sell high. Normally her selling price will be approximately 97-110. You will have weeks where the nooks buying prices are all low, high or a combo of each. Friends will sometimes post if their nooks are buying high, for example 200-800 per turnip and open their gate up to friends or by using a DoDo code so those who have turnips to sell can sell them to make a large amount of bells.

@Jen10 no problem. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask them here! And if you ever want a particular item, want to trade or just want to collect some new fruit or flowers, you can ask me or anyone else about it
Crossbreeding flowers is so strange sometimes. Several guides disagree with each other so I cannot trust any of them. Sometimes flowers make something that should not be possible. Has anyone here crossbred a blue rose or purple pansy without time traveling?
Good morning all. Stitches the patchwork.teddy bear is crafting a GOLD DUNG BEETLE!
I’m opening my gates for all friends. Turn right from the airport, his house is after the Able Sisters shop.
Also, there are multiple items on the ground for cataloging and lots of DIY duplicates for anyone to take.
I’m unavailable for conversation as everyone knows it’s impossible when people are coming and going.
Shepard, if you come, your items are on the beach left of the airport. Just let me know you are taking them when you get here. You will need 31 empty slots in your pocket!

@Lard_Bucket I know what you mean. This is why I hardly ever crossbreed, and when I do, I fail completely. If anyone here has found a really reliable hybrid guide, let me know!

@Gret8888 How are we supposed to get those 2 flowers?
For the blue rose I saw one guide say white x orange = special red. special red x special red = low chance at blue. Another guide said purple x orange = special red. special red x special red = low chance at blue. Are either of these correct?
For purple pansy I saw something about blue x orange = special red. special red x special red = low chance at purple. Does this sound right?
@Gret8888 thank you for this, i flew in and grabbed the diy gold dung beetle recipe. Never even heard of it till now (: would you like anything in exchange?
