That's my plan as well! My island's river starts about half way up on the left and cuts across and then down to about the half-way point on the bottom. It's a more or less rectangular area around Resident Services. I plan to develop as the "downtown" area. I added a bunch of hedge fencing today, and I'm working on a fountain plaza to the left of Resident Services. It's a very slow process. I don't know how people are finding the time to make all those elaborately sculpted islands I'm seeing on Reddit.

@foxyflimflam very welcome, i also have diner furniture. I have 2 diner chairs (aquamarine and pink), 2 diner counter chairs, a diner counter table (cream) and a red diner neon clock. Do you need any of these?
