@meeto_1 I feel that the only golden tool worth using is the watering can and thats only if you are watering black roses. I will recolor my tools about when I think they will break to avoid the hassle of making a replacement. For the shovel, I will always recolor before and after a mystery tour. I do the same thing with hitting the rocks on my island/digging up fossils beacuse it seems to be close to the limit. If I continue to dig up newly sprouted flowers afterwards it always seems to break. Sometimes when I am fishing/catching bugs a lot I will just bring a stack of iron with me. I have several visually hidden DIY workbenches so I can make a new one if I just get some branches nearby.

I finished one of my silly projects. Behind the resident services building I have a 6x6 field of flowers that spell "N" in gold roses with black roses as the background. (G=gold, B=black)

Can you increase storage space without getting a bigger house?

The only way to increase storage space is to upgrade your house. You could dedicate a room for extra storage, but it wouldn’t look that good...

@cooldude99 I like the 6x6 grid. I'm not too keen on upgrading, but I'm running out of storage space constantly.

@Octane After you expand the main room to 8x8 the next 3 upgrades give you a 6x6 room in the back, left, and right sides. If you like your 6x6 layout a lot, you could just set it up again as your back room because the door will be in the same location.

Anyone trying to make a fancy kitchen? I got Kitchen island as my expensive item at nook's the other day for 170k. Its a 2x2 item with a sink and oven on one side with the other 2 grid places as available counter space for miscellaneous items.

My adorable patchwork teddy bear Stitches is crafting a WOODEN CHEST of drawers which looks pretty nice. ( TURN RIGHT form the airport, house is after the the Able Sisters shop.

I placed 50+ items in sections on the ground If you’d like to catalog them. TURN LEFT (from the airport) in front of the museum, on the beach across from the museum, extending all the way to Stitches front door.
