@Lard_Bucket I only have 10 cedar trees, the rest are all fruit trees. I shake the cedar trees daily with net in hand to catch the 5 wasps, 2 furniture like items and three 100 coins.

@Gret8888 That is very interesting.
Have you run into any issues due to having no hardwood trees? During the Bunny Day event I think 3 random hardwood trees would have 3 Leaf Eggs in them each. During the Cherry Blossom event only hardwood tree changed color but that did not affect the ability to obtain the pedals.

@Gret8888 Finally paid off Shepherd's house, that last 2.4m bells was painful. Now, he can spend all his Bells on furniture and decorations for the island. Let me know if you want me to catalog the Cute items and Jukebox or send you the Bells for them.

Does anyone have a female flamingo hanging around? _{Not a real one, the item of furniture.} I have a male one, and like, money, and recipes and... stuff to trade!

Just found out that the new tools available in the upgraded nooks cranny have the same durability as the standard tools. I don’t mind durable tools and weapons in games but I think that as you progress you should get to a point where you obtain unbreakable items. The mechanic of crafting tools gets really boring after doing it 3-400 times. The gold tools are not well implemented. After crafting one who wants to replace them when gold is soo rare and is needed for other recipes?

@Mountain_Man It’s an interesting quandary, isn’t it? How much of your town’s original rustic island charm do you hang on to? Of course, the stuff that blows up on the internet is typically the most ambitious in terms of pushing the games available tools, but there’s a lot to be said for less radical approaches too.

I’ve began to the process of moving two villagers’ houses two squares to the right so that they line up nicely with the town hall and I can create a thoroughfare lined with shrubs. It’s quite an arduous process (you can’t move something two squares rightward directly, because the house you’re trying to move is in the way... of itself, so you have to move it somewhere else first), but it should look nice when it’s done.

I’m thinking about having the area around the town hall be quite bustling and developed, while letting other parts of town (especially the far cliffs) retain some of their original wilderness (which seems appropriate for somewhere with a campsite).
