What was that about leaving via the airport? I haven't visited many islands. Does it cause problems?

@edhe Doesn't make a difference if you leave through the airport or with the minus button. Sometimes someone will 'leave quietly', resulting in the game to revert to the previous save, but that's usually a result of the connection just breaking rather than anything leaving in the wrong way I think.

@edhe I believe he means don’t just press the minus button to leave, instead, actually go to the airport and tell the Dodo you want to leave.

@msm2000 Thanks for helping me out here. It's a pity I can't really chat in game, as there seems to be people coming and going every 30 seconds. I'd like to add you as a switch friend if that's ok - something that seems to be required in order to add someone as a friend in-game.

@msm2000 thanks for today it was really helpful visiting your island. I got rid of my turnips and bought stuff from Leif.

Nintendo need to sort out their online it’s a running joke at this point. Could barely move on your island at times because people were coming and going. Other games allow people to come and go with ease. Plus buying in bulk from any vendor is so slow and backwards.

@BenAV have you tried the update yet or is it not the right time?

@meeto_1 I was playing in the morning before the update so I'm in the gotta wait till tomorrow club.

@BenAV that happened to me and it really annoyed me when I found out. Shop is closed today as well and Sabel still isn’t sharing her designs with me.

The art dealer won’t turn up until tomorrow so I’m hoping for a packed day. I did catch my first Blue Marlin today but that took 2 solid hours and countless bait.
