@cooldude99 I did talk to him. Are you saying the boat may come today or that the boat will only be triggered for a future visit by talking to blathers.

So far this update has given me nothing new. Not that I have run out of stuff, far from it. Just seems odd that a new event doesn’t begin the same way on the first day for everyone. Plus my store is closed lol.

@meeto_1 I saw somewhere that exactly 24 hours after you talk to blathers, Redd will show up in a random location on your island. He will sell you a painting (pretty sure the first one is real) and you can then donate it to the museum, and the next day construction will start to upgrade the museum. On the day the museum is back open, Redd will most likely be wandering around your island again. Once you talk to him again, he will appear on the northern beach on his boat on random days.
This is what I’ve heard, not sure if it’s true tho.

For Leif, if you have opened up your game after 5AM before updating, then you won't meet him. I assume you'll meet him when the next day started (aka 5AM)

@cooldude99 @darkfenrir thanks for the info. Makes sense but is super annoying. Had planned to do some gardening with the new bushes. Oh well it’s raining on my island so will fish. Caught a blue Marlin finally but really want a coelacanth whilst it’s raining.
