They will not randomly invade my island and build their pre occupied house on my island like on ACNL, right ?
I heard from someone to get specific villager, you must spend some Mile Nook tickets and find out who are in the Mystery Island. If you like any of them you're lucky, but if you don't like them then you wasted the tickets. Is that true ?

@Anti-Matter So at some point Tom Nook will ask you to set up spots for new villagers. They will not just show up where ever they want. But if you set up spots and don't invite anyone, random villagers can fill them. So when Tom Nook asks you, you should wait until you're ready to do some mystery island tours so you can choose someone you like.

The only way to choose a villager to get rid of, is to use an Amiibo. If someone visits your campsite randomly, they choose who to replace. But if you use an Amiibo, it takes 3 visits, but then you can choose who leaves. This is probably while Amiibo are so expensive again. That - and they don't bloody make them anymore.

I got 6 Amiibo cards for a total of a bout 35 dollars. Which is a steal, considering some are selling for more than 20 dollars each! For the cards!

So, the best way to choose specific villagers without being occupied by random villagers by not setting up the empty house spot, right ?
Let's say i still have two starter villagers. If i never intentionally looking for any villagers, i still have two villagers, right ?
If so, i can manage to get specific villagers 1 by 1 without suddenly invaded by random villagers.
Villager inside the campsite have the power to get rid one my 10 villagers if i just do Nothing ?! 🤪

So I'm 3 days in now. (and roughly 3 1/2 hours I believe)

I'm not gonna have a real opinion on this game for a week at least but right now its pretty cool, if very obviously not made for especially long play sessions (especially early on).

The fact that my online persona has been kkslider for half my life and yet I'm only casually starting the game a month after release is hilarious to me.

@jamesnl cool. Whenever Sahara is on my island, i ignore her cause I’m not bothered (for some reason). I always put her off, and eventually she’s left! I really need some more exciting floors and wallpaper.
