@Lard_Bucket
I didn't look around much but nice. I've done mostly done big grids with whatever colors needed with a space in between for hopefully the hybrid to grow for me.
I still haven't any luck with purple hyacinth; purple pansies; black cosmos; green mums; purple turnips or gold, purple, and blue roses.
So mostly all the purple except mums. With a few others left to grow.
@MyNameIsRandy I have a theory that flowers watered by villagers have a higher chance to create new flowers. i just have my flowers in simple lines around the plaza and on the left/right sides of the houses but I have been able to get tons of flowers pooping up around their houses and plaza.
OK bear with me because this is a lot but here are some of my ideas for how they could improve the game in future updates / personal wish list of sorts too I guess:
A Home Showcase Island (like the HHA Showcase Plaza in New Leaf) where random people can rate your house and give feedback. They can rate your house on a 5 star scale and you get an HHA score bonus based on your average rating. As a volunteer going to this island you will also earn special items for taking the time to rate players' homes.
Return of Lyle and Ability to consult with him about the current state of your home like in New Leaf where he would tell you what you were doing right or wrong and give you tips to improve.
Return of the missing fruits from New Leaf: bananas, lemons, mangos, lychees, durians, and persimmons but make them fairly difficult to obtain so they can be worth 500 bells apeice for everyone. Also bring back perfect fruit and perfect fruit trees, they would still die after bearing a few bushels like in New Leaf. Rotten fruit should also return to make fruit more of a gamble and because there needs to be more items worth throwing away with the trash cans besides spoiled turnips.
Ability to store turnips in your house storage. The return of red turnips would be very welcome as well, working much like they did in Wild World and City Folk.
Nook Shopping being exclusively connected to your bank account giving the bell deposit system more utility.
Return of diving mechanic with new wet suits to obtain and craft and with that the ability to find sunken items or treasure chests with furniture, bells, etc. inside. I believe diving was shown to be in the game's code as a future update but I would like more to pull up instead of just deep sea creatures.
Secondary smaller island much like the one in Population: Growing that serves to be an extension to your mainland. This island also could have a small island cabin and would have say 2 to 3 villagers who could live there and of course the ability to decorate and furnish the area. Basically, just that island mechanic from the GameCube game revived and reused but with everything you can do in this game. You would access this island from your dock and Kappn' would ferry you there.
New version of Tortimer Island where you can go on minigame tours like in New Leaf with many new tour types added and plenty of new items you can buy with medals. Ability to go there solo, with friends locally or online via hosting a session on the island, or join a lobby randomly with anyone online.
More interactivity with the furniture ex: allow you to play a pinball minigame on the pinball machine or play table tennis with another villager or player when they are visiting. I don't think there is a single person who doesn't want more interactivity, it's been 20 years and furniture still just does a whole lot of nothing.
Inclusion of the balls that would randomly appear on the GameCube game but instead of randomly appearing in this game, just change the ball furniture items into their own unique item type. You could still place them like a furniture item or let them be used as an actual ball that can be kicked and tossed around.
Brewster and gyroids though this was data mined and they are likely coming eventually in an update. There should be an actual effect when drinking the coffee though. Drinking coffee could give the player a very slight speed boost and they would perform actions faster like swinging their axe, watering flowers, etc. just a bit faster.
Tool durability meter and a rework of the current durability system for all tools because it is a bit too forgiving. Durability is only reduced when using the tools as they are meant to be used and not when they are failed to. They should all go down by one point for misuse regardless of the tool, except for failing to cast in water with the fishing rod.
Crafting Changes - in a queue as well as crafting from storage when being done at your house. It would increase the length of the crafting animation slightly for each item in the queue and you would be seeing all of the materials being thrown in for each but you can still mash A to speed it up a bit. Or maybe have some on screen prompt showing which button you need to mash to speed it up having it change up and be a little more interesting and engaging.
New Island Designer - Options for modifying the beach including sandscaping, rockscaping (the ones along your island's North coast and sitting atop the sand on the other sides of the island) and the abiilty to create and cover up river mouths with waterscaping tool.
Villager changes - Add more things for villagers to say and bring back the option to ask for a job to do instead of them just randomly asking you. They repeat lines far too frequently and it makes me not want to talk to them because they hardly have anything interesting to say nor tasks for me to complete. More types of tasks to do for them would be greatly appreciated as well because they haven't really tried anything new since the petition form signing in New Leaf and I don't even know if it's in this game.
@MyNameIsRandy Never had my town rating complain about too many flowers.
I only use my golden watering can on the black roses because gold material is too valuable.
I've had the game since launch and I think it says I'm at 33 days, and I have had no indication that my store is closing for remodeling. It also took me a few days to open the first store because I tend to not do as much every day, so I think it is clearly 30 days after the opening of the first store, not 30 days of playing. If anyone was still questioning this.
@Xyphon22 Yep. That's what the dataminers said and it seems to line up with when everyone's stores are upgrading now. I've seen some people claiming to have gotten their upgrade much earlier but they were all just lying about not time traveling.
I didn’t get an announcement today for nooks . so I guess when I started the game I was slower to progress. I honestly can’t remember 4 weeks ago. It will happen this week for sure i honestly think tomorrow. I can’t wait

@meeto_1 I think mine will begin the upgrade on Thursday. Pretty sure it took me 3 days... Like you, it’s difficult to remember. You’ll at least be able to visit friends with the upgraded shop if yours happens later!

@BenAV thank you. You’re always kind and generous as are the others I have interacted with on here.
Did you guys notice the new wall type? There weren’t just bushes in today’s announcement there was an ivy covered wall visible on the main island outside peoples homes.
I hope they have a new furniture pack this year. Weird to say that considering I don’t have a fraction of the in game stuff but I would like to see more furniture styles. From what I have seen there are not many ranges like the cute range for example.

Urgh I just realised that to move buildings/campsite it will cost 50,000 bells. Darn! Its going to cost me a fortune and take aaaages to move everything where I want it. I need the campsite moved as well as the museum and about 4 homes! Noooo!
