Flowerers cannot prevent a rock from appearing there. If the game hates you enough it can spawn in the middle of your flower field where you left a 1 space gap for a new flower to be created by crossbreeding.

example: the one in bold had a rock appear there...

@MyNameIsRandy Alright, I've accepted your friend request. It will probably be later tonight (like 9:30 -10:00 EST) before I can get on again, though. I don't know when you play, but at least we are friends now whenever we are able to cross paths.

@Lard_Bucket Yeah, they can still appear in the gaps but when there's not a lot of gaps, there's not a lot of spots for them to spawn.

@BrittGOAL14 Thanks. It was a bit of a spur of the moment choice decision last week. Was trying to figure out what to do with the big cliff that was basically empty and figured I might as well try it before filling the space with anything else.

I've been to visit Lolly to get the recipe - thank you for that. I am trying to answer chat on the island but keep getting interrupted with arrivals and departures!

You have some lovely villagers @BenAV, I love Lolly and Fauna Yes my turnip prices were really bad today, 81 bells this morning and 76 this afternoon. I'll let you know if I get a good price on them at some point this week.

My internet is still kicking off and on today, so I will be trying tomorrow instead to open my gates up to friends. This is so irritating but hoping it is fixed soon because I love visiting my friends on here and having visitors ):

That's so annoying, is your provider having problems? Have you tried resetting your router?

Is any one willing to help me get some fruit? I only have oranges and pears and would love to complete my fruit roster.

@Pink_Yoshi No wide known outages or anything in my area! Restarted router a couple of times! It started seeming ok (my husband is a teacher so does online classes from home) but then started going out randomly again. If it is still unstable tomorrow, definitely going to be calling to figure out a solution!!!!

Oh its so annoying when it does things like that! It could be if lots of people are online. I know here in the UK we're on complete lockdown so we're all working from home but to be honest I haven't experienced any bad connections due to it but I know that some people are. Hope you manage to get it sorted out!

My modem suddenly just went off y'day. I finally unplugged for 10 minutes, plugged it back in...nothing. I checked it again in a couple hours and it was up and running. I have Spectrum, checked tneir site which said there were no outages. Well, there was at my house.

First time playing an Animal Crossing game.
First time trying to do anything online (other than the eShop).

How do I trade items with other people (flowers, fruits, etc.)? I don't know any people in real life with a Switch so I guess you could say I have no friends lol

@Hordak Items that are dropped can be picked up by other players for trading purposes.
If you enter the Switch Friend Code of another person and they accept or vice versa you automatically become friends in-game and it is easier to visit/get visited.

@Hordak ah! What kind of fruit do you have? I think you have to play the game for a few days before you can travel to other islands, just a heads up. Not sure how long you’ve been playing.
