Lol, I've been trying to do that as well but had no luck, at least you've managed to catch one before April is out! Well done

I do want to get all the fish for the critterpedia. What are the rare fish I need to look for in the sea? I have only caught an oarfish. Apart from that it’s just endless sea bass. Are there any super rare ones in the rivers and tops of river. Northern hemisphere.

@meeto_1 Coelacanth is only available on very rainy days in the sea. Tuna and Blue Marlin are pier only. Cherry Salmon (not that rare) , Char, and Golden Trout are 2nd & 3rd level river only. Ranchu Goldfish is a pond fish with very limited hours 9am-4pm but at least its year-round. Guppy and Neon tetra have that same limited time slot in rivers but will be available for the next several months.

@meeto_1 i use the thonky site to find out what bugs / fish are available and when. the hardest one for me was the barreleye fish which is in the sea after 9pm. there is a mystery island that has large fish. I have been there twice, it's easier to find blue marlin and tuna there than on my own island.

I think my favorite thing about this game is the incredulous look your neighbors give you when you enter their house and then leave without talking to them. Their squinty eye, question mark above the head, head tilt just like my beagle, "What on earth are you doing?" expression is priceless.

@Lard_Bucket @jamesnl Thank you for the advice. Will use it to fish more. I get envious when I see others with gold fish. I have 36,000 nook miles so I will also try more nook island tours.

I am glad I got the game. Multiplayer is somewhat disappointing though...

Also, and I REALLY hope this will be in a future update, I kind of wished that other players' characters would also walk around like the animals do. I've got three kids and my wife has a house now too, so it would be way cooler if I could see them walk around, give them gifts and talk to them as well... Even if it's not real, it would make the island feel more alive.

@Xyphon22 I actually feel a little bad when I do that. Sometimes I go up and talk to them before leaving when I have no reason to as a result, haha.

I have Saharah visiting my island today. I'm not sure if the mysterious wallpaper/flooring is the same for visiting players but I got Construction-site wall, Ocean-horizon wall, Flowing-river flooring, and Lava flooring.

If you buy extra rugs for exchange tickets you can get 2 mysterious wallpaper and 2 mysterious flooring in a single day.

@Lard_Bucket I might pop over in a little bit if that's ok? All i want are some classy Persian rugs but all he has given me so far are plain colours or really eccentric stuff that doesn't fit my home.

@Lard_Bucket From what a friend told me, apparently the wallpaper and floor that you buy is the same for everyone but the ones you get with the tickets are random.

My villager stopped making the gold-armor shoes as soon as i opened my gate. Wasn't even an hour change...

I intend on opening my gates up later to friends/best friends!! Was going to do it soon but it seems my internet is acting up so going to try resetting the router and giving it time to go back to normal. (: Will keep y'all posted if you are interested in visiting!

@BenAV omg I was so happy to get that fireplace and bookends! Really makes my bedroom look SOOOOO much better!!! You are so freaking sweet! (: Next time you visit, I will pull some things I have that you might like and anything that pops out at you I can bring back to your island or can mail it to you. 💗

@Lard_Bucket Please forgive me as it is so hard to keep track of people until I really get to know them.....are we friends yet!? Lol If not, I'd love to become friends and visit each other! And I would LOVE to get some of those from Saharah! I get crappy plain stuff constantly from her when she visits me!
