Thanks @BenAV - I would have stayed longer and had a better look around but its 11:45pm here in the UK and I have to be up early in the morning as I am working from home during the lockdown, thank you for the recipe and a little look about. I bought some red lilies in Nooks Cranny. I'll have a better look next time when its not so late over here!
Where abouts in the world are you, are you Australia way?
Been out of the loop today working on projects and still feel like I got nothing accomplished, but it will get there. That is the beauty of this game! There is no time limit and endless possibilities!

Anyone interested in the Wooden chest DIY recipe? I got it on a mystery tour but know it already. Its the 2x1 dresser in the wooden them. If you are one of my friends I can just mail it.
I'm still loving and playing the game daily, but I'm getting really impatient for the Nook's Cranny upgrade - and yet at the same time, sad because it seems like that's the last major addition.
There's still a ton of furniture that I want but beyond that, it seems like the game is going to start fading for me. Which I suppose is fair because I've already put nearly 140 hours into it and expect to still play daily for some time, but I think I'm past the point of spend half a day remodeling my island anymore. I've got just one last big project I want to do, and two small ones. It's kinda sad that it feels like I'm getting to the end.
I hope they add more content, more stuff for the museum, maybe another shop or some kind of island upgrade (like the coffee shop maybe?)
And I'd love the return of the mini-games and special fruit trees...

@BrittGOAL14 Yes that seems to be the word around the web. Which means another 2-3 days and I should have it. Which is good. But bittersweet because it's the last big thing, for now anyway...

I'm using a GroupMe (instant messaging) chat specifically for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As long as your computer is near wherever you play AC: NH it's very convenient, t's a lot easier than typing in-game or even with the Nintendo Online app. Please, let me know if you'd like an invite.

@jamesnl My brain doesn’t work like most... I actually drew my island map in a notebook and keep adding things to the physical map before doing it in game. Helps me keep up with how many bridges/inclines there are as well. Once I figure out the plan, I move forward.
that sounds like a great way to do it, at the moment i am just throwing stuff down on the island and seeing if i like it or not. i should incorporate more planning into it, just figuring out how i want things to look and then where i want paths / houses / shops etc to be. The terraforming helps in that sense to just reset everything if i suddenly have an idea
@UnknownReader when i first started the game i just focused on paying off the home loan and collecting resources, i have spent a lot of time growing flowers and fruit trees and i think i have too much of both now. the only thing i want to do for sure is have an outdoor area with board games, perhaps with a cafe attached to it. I'd like to keep my island somewhat rustic, lots of mountains and forested areas but not sure yet how i want to do it. That is the beauty of this game, everything is possible.
