@UnknownReader They can do what they like. I'm just saying that I personally don't take advantage of a time traveler's resources or it's like I'm time traveling myself. Would kinda ruin the 245 hours I've put in so far without any time travel. Not having a go at anyone for playing how they want. I also don't count time traveling to catch back up to where you were after a restart for whatever that's worth, that's a bit different.

@BenAV lol! I put 220 hrs ++ the last time I check and I TT... imagine that, and I am broke and my island not even fully build, so TT don't mean that person ( or myself ) is ahead of everyone else thou.

@Pink_Yoshi Mine is a disaster compared to most but I kind of like it that way. I prefer the trees being all over... I’ve done a little bit of terraforming but nothing like most. Luckily, the game’s designed to be played for many months and even years! You’ll get there eventually.

@Gret8888 can I make a few trip now? Is that ok

@BenAV not everyone can play day and night. For instance, time traveling BACK to a day or evening you weren’t able to play when you knew Celeste was on your island, or Gulliver, or there was a bug off. They wouldn’t have made it an option if it was wrong. I play mostly late at night, maybe 11pm-morning. In real time, The shops are closed. So I travel BACK to a time when the shops are open. That’s just one example of why I say I’m time traveler.

No worries, I just wanted to give you my side of the way I have to experience the game, for me. We all have our values to do what we feel is just and fair for ourselves and that’s cool.

BenAV didn't say anything against other people time traveling. Just they don't want to and take advantage of other people doing it.

I haven't at all but I'm sure some of the things I've gotten are from people who have.

These flowers have made me want too but but it will make it that much more special with i get rare hybrids.

@UnknownReader @BrittGOAL14 Thanks both - I will get there eventually but it feels like such a lot of work! I've got ideas in my head and intend to do them. I think my mistake is trying to work on too much at the same time so I've decided to do one area at a time and I'm going to move my campsite.

The drifting Joycon is a major irritant but I will get my Pro controller instead til I can get the Joycon replaced.

@Pink_Yoshi Don't worry about it. I am way behind everyone else too. I unlocked terraforming, but have done nothing with it yet. I think everyone can play how they want and I would never say anyone is playing badly (unless they are cheating other people which no one is doing) but it seems like many people are playing to "beat" the game as soon as possible and be done with it. I have only gone to other people's islands for things I can't do on my own (foreign fruit/flowers, getting Nook Miles). I never go just to get items I don't have yet or sell turnips, because those things will come to my island eventually. This game is meant to be played for years and built up slowly. Just go at your own pace. That's what I'm doing.

@Gret8888 Changing your system clock isn't what I'd call an 'option'. Even that's a little different though. Playing with the clock so that the time matches up with when you play is fair enough. Exploiting high prices in the turnip market when turnips aren't even for sale anywhere in the world doesn't exactly compare.

@BenAV I feel like whilst I don’t want my independent nation of bravos to time travel I cannot dictate what the free nation of fantasy does. If it’s in their constitution to time travel so be it. We will conduct mutual relations.

@Pink_Yoshi I know the feeling, lol! I made that mistake too in the beginning trying to work on too much at the same time.

@Pink_Yoshi did you do the upgrade for the joycons? First try to recalibrate them by going to Controllers on the main menu. Then be sure to do the system and joy-con Update in your system settings.

My advice, don’t worry about all the items under nook miles. Start stock piling those miles because you will need approximately 15,000 for the terraforming and all the extras that don’t come with the terraforming tools automatically. Shake those trees, sell that fruit, talk to the villagers, fish until you drop, and swipe ups every nasty bug you see. The bells will add up and so will the miles. Once you can terraform, it’s as if you entered into a new dimensions and the sky is the limit once your brain kicks into creativity mode.

It’s not a race. Enjoy it. Do you need fruit? Flowers? We are all here for you 😉

I don't mine others TT. What I don't like is troll/ stalker going to others island and trashed it. The currency of this game is not real so if people make use of it to gain, I don't see a big deal. I like the idea of dodo code for people to visit but not add as friend on Switch, but those lurking around and jump when they see dodo code posted and then go and trashed it is what annoys me. That is why I avoid playing that way.

@UnknownReader TOUCHÉ! I will flip $#/% if someone does that to me. All I ask is please do not sprint through the flowers and never ever take anything without asking the Island owner first. Players should know practice island etiquette, It’s basic manners! If they aren’t capable, then I consider them a damn savage and not welcome back. It’s that simple

@Gret8888 yeah same here, I would flipped too, lol! That is why I add those I find friendly. I don't take stuff without asking first even thou typing on that small screen take forever, lol! I avoid running thru flowers cos I know it take few day to bloom back, and it looks weird when some stalk among flowers, lol!
