Topic: Zelda BoTW Switch 2 - play with no DLC

Hello,

can someone confirm it is impossible to get rid of DLCs with Switch 2 version of the game? Mine are set to not download in eshop and yet I have them installed.

I have always played without DLCs and while I can survive them, I would rather not have to.

@WoomyNNYes I have done that, it still downloaded the DLCs.

@Gorlock My gut says you may have missed a step then. Those directions should work. Forgive me if something actually glitched and made it not work. I haven't seen anyone say those directions didn't work.

If nobody else steps up in here, I'll suggest asking in the Daily Question Thread pinned to the top of r/NintendoSwitch on reddit. Although, that thread is really busy since switch 2 launch yesterday.

I have figured it out. It was not enough to redownload the game, had to remove it from Home Screen for some reason and then redownload it from the appropriate menu.
