Did anyone other then those in the USA read this? Doesn't matter the race, ethnicity or gender identity but this story isn't and should not about the Switch it's the person in question that is the problem and issue and the news makes it sound like the Switch caused this. This is far outside the scope of the Switch it's a school and there are guidelines and rules. They have recreational time and they should use it at the appropriate time as this was a uncalled for abuse. And I can guarantee the woman victim will SUE the district for unsafe and dangerous environment that will be coming I can guarantee that-she will quit and sue the school and defended for this incident. Remember the Switch didn't cause this - the now charged Adult juvenile choose to do this. they had issues already and Switch was a convenient excuse for the news.
Where have you been. Video games have always been the cause of the downfall of society and governments. Look at all the Ax murderers running around now from playing Mortal Kombat when they were kids in the 90s.

I mean that student was the real villain.
He was deserved to be punished for his attitude by attacking innocent peoples.
Also, playing video games during lesson in the class was really his fault.
He is GUILTY for his sins.
And this coming from Florida and the governor should take responsibility for this situation. The issue was already there the charged adult chose thier action and should face 30 years with adults then he will learn his place. The Switch wasn't the problem but dumb news wants others to think the Switch caused this which couldn't be farther from the truth.
Wow. Like all schools in the US I've been in, that floor is concrete. The low pile tiles are zero padding. No wonder she was knocked out instantly. In that fall alone, she likely broke her shoulder/collar bone, possibly ribs, her jaw, possibly more, and at least got a concussion. I'm really scared for that teachers injuries.
In my time riding bmx, I've seen someone break a collar bone, and their fall wasn't as rough as that teacher's. I am quite sad & scared for that woman.
It's so sad to see people ruin their lives over the tiniest things.
He had other issues and the Switch was so minor compared to his actions of abuse. The news used that as a excuse to dog whistle that gaming causes this but he was a problem himself to start with. Chasing down someone and suckerpunching them is Intent to cause Physical harm that is without question here and the video is there to prove otherwise.
