Topic: Transferered my pokemon sword data and now i need to buy ut again

I manually transfered my switch data with the old a new console but when i go to open the game it says i need to buy it again still have the dlc but im not sire whats going on somebody help me i had shinys on that account

@Hydro Digital ownership is tied to the Nintendo account/email address that bought it. Sounds like you haven't linked the user profile on your new Switch to your Nintendo account yet. -that's my guess.

Since account issues, transfers, digital ownership issues tend to require multiple questions figuring out where you're at (which is time consuming in a forum waiting for replies) you're quickest way to resolve the issue may be to call Nintendo. They can to walk you through it. Nintendo of america has a good support phone line. I've used them a few times myself, had very positive experiences. They have west coast work hours(seattle). 6am -7pm Pacific (9am-10pm Eastern)

What can take 1-2 hours to resolve here in the forum, may only take 5-10 minutes talking to Nintendo customer service/support. Having the nintende support page loaded on a computer can help streamline things, in case they just need to point you to a page of directions.
