There was an indie game that was made in unreal engine 4 that was announced for the NX before it was officially titled the Switch. It looked pretty basic, it was just some kid running around an outside Area with some ruins in the background. Anyone remember this?
It's that game that was blatantly either going to be rubbish or vaporware. The animation was nasty and the gameplay was non-existent. It was just someone messing around with the engine basically.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@Octane Yes! It was the game with the dog and the kid. It honestly didn’t look very promising to begin with, but I wanted to follow up on it to see if the development team even released it
Did some digging, and apparently the studio is full of crap, it's a French studio with dubious reputation. They claimed the original trailer was running on a Switch, even though they didn't have access to a dev kit. The CEO was good friends with people at Gameblog.fr, which heavily promoted the game, and is probably the reason we know of it in the first place. Sounds like a good bunch of vaporware to me.
@gcunit I knew I shouldn't have googled 'playful doggy-style game switch'...
@Octane did some more reading and apparently people were doubting the validity of this game from the get go. The game itself was supposed to be a companion piece to a book series of the same name but the series was cancelled. The game went completely dark after that.
