Topic: What's your favorite Billy Joel song? Just joking! This about understanding the trend of non-video game topics.

Ya i guess you have a point. it is a video game website, sure. There are topics about video games all over the place but in general discussion (which is listed under the OFF TOPIC headline) its not really talking about video games if you read the description underneath it, so a lot of the time you won't find video games, you'll find people talking about themselves, about each other, and posting stuff not relevant to video games but more about personal stuff. So i guess if you don't like it you don't have to click the topics that don't sound like videogames...like its clearly stated for mine at least that its about how tall are you...so if you don't wanna talk about that, instead of going out of your way just to say its a pointless topic since its not related to video games under a non-video game category, you can just skip it or look in the more video game related places. I'm not trying to single you out or argue cuz you raise a point so many people probably want to, but personally, i find it annoying when people constantly say people's topics are pointless or non video game related because its really just going out of your way to degrade someone else's topic to whom their own topic did actually interest them...I wanted to know the heights of people out of interest so to me its not pointless, so i made the topic. So if all my or somebody's topics are pointless, I say you can make your own topics that aren't "pointless" in your eyes so then the topic has a "point" or place on this site for you.

Well, I don't feel like my topic is being judgmental of non-video game topics, I used Billy Joel as the hook. I have read and even commented on plenty of them. Some of them do seem a bit silly, but like you said some people like them and some don't. Also, I never used the word "pointless." I understand that they are still seeking information.
