So, like the title says, what's the most fun thing you've ever done in a video game?

For me, battling the Iron Knuckles in Ocarina of Time 3D was a highlight of my gaming career. I've never really fought anything in any other game that I had this much fun with! You lock onto him, and strafe around, taunting it, as it smashes everything around it. It goes for you with the axe, and in one fluid motion you do a backflip and then jump back with an overhand strike... it doesn't get much better than that!

There may be some other things I'm forgetting about at the moment, but that's the one I remember right now. So how 'bout you?

so many things...

  • being the Number 1 Megaman Battle Network player in my school. I loved gathering everyone to have a small championship it was also great to have found a game I was good enough to beat my friends(I used to be the ultimate loser)
    • playing Minecraft with my cousin(I used to make a tunnel bellow his house to fill with dynamite )
    • Kid Icarus Uprising, what part? none it was the game as a whole
    • playing Wario Ware(Wii), Mario Kart(any) and Mario Party(any) with more than two players
    • Fighting Jhen Mohran(MH3U)
    • the minigames in Kirby 64

actually scratch all the multiplayer points(except the Megaman one) in my list and consider "playing local multiplayer with 3 or more friends" instead any game is more fun if you're fooling around, laughing loud with people you like and not worrying about winning

the most fun thing ive ever done inside a video game is clean all the marker off the outside of the case, remove all the rental stickers, open the cart up and clean off the dust and contacts inside the game and make it look and play like new and make profit just to get another games. its a game that never ends

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Soda-cranked nights of Mario Kart 64 with some of my best friends. I swear to God the stupidest and littlest things would make us fall apart and lose out voices the next day.

Making a living for myself in Harvest Moon. More fun than it sounds.

Also, pulling off a heist in Monaco with friends. That game is absolutely hilarious!

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

I find it hard to pick one legitimate moment, so I'll share two "creative" explorations that somehow stick out above others in my memory at the moment.

I've never been very interested in deliberately violent video games, but sending people to their death in Roller Coaster Tycoon had a certain appeal to me in my youth. Also, throwing lil' penguin off of Cool Cool Mountain in Mario 64...

  • When i got my N-64 and started playing Mario64, it was something special and probably my favourite gaming moment.
  • First 4player match with MK64 with my friends, great times.
  • Goldeneye
  • Perfect Dark
  • OOT.. (and MM)
  • When i got my Gamecube(bought it used), with a bunch of great games.
  • WW
  • Metroid Prime, this was actually my first time playing a Metroid game and it really was something special.

Ah, here's another one I remembered:

Me and my friends played Mario vs. Luigi in NSMB every day at lunch in Middle School! We played it so often and got so good at it that eventually we started coming up with our own rules for it - the most fun of which being the Koopa Shell Match - in which you can only attack each other by throwing Koopa Shells; and no powerups allowed! Now that was fun!

I couldn't really think of a "most fun thing", but two memorable experiences came from Madden. I remember it was the 4th quarter with five seconds left in the game and I was down by a touchdown on the 25ish yard line. With the Eagles, I threw a Hail Mary pass down the field for a long completion and a long touchdown run against the Vikings in Minnesota for a last minute win. Another fun thing was going online and beating people with the Detroit Lions after they became infamous for the first NFL team in 30 some years to have a perfect losing record.

I've done a lot of fun things, but one in particular is GTA: San Andreas. You grab any vehicle you can find (ranging from cars, golf karts, fire engines etc) go to the bottom of Mt Chilliad, use cheats to instantly get a 4 star wanted rating and enjoy the gauntlet of police cars as you make your way to the top.

Videogames are Fun so to pick the most fun is difficult
So if i have to pick playing as Nightwing in Batman Arkham city. The combat is just so fun i spent hours trying to get the highscore
Multiplayer impossible to pick i'm sorry to Many fun memories to Mario Kart, Mario Party, Pokemon Stadium all hard to pick

Pick one? Haha nope! I never do that! XD
Okay, I would say Super Mario Galaxy 2 in its entirety. I love everything about that game, nothing will ever top it for me. However, I'd like to share more than just say that it's my favourite game, so:

  • The first time I lost my way in Minecraft then found my way back to my home. I dunno why, but that just stuck out to me.
  • Good Bad Bug abuse in games in general. "Breaking" games with glitches and "revealing the tick behind the magic" and seeing just how a game can get messed up is just incredibly fun as a whole to me too(it's an aspect I miss about older games! It's kind of like a discovery of some collectable or something in a new game. Someone should make a game based around this idea).
  • Coming back to Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure on the Wii after not touching it for a long time, after I had finally got all the characters, that was great. It basically changed my opinion of the game from "mediocre" to "I freaking love this" in about a week when I realised how much stuff there really was to do and how addictive doing everything was. Also Skylanders hunting in general could count although I genuinely hate doing that at the same time. Now, normally this wouldn't be that big a deal, but I'm still going on with Skylanders and I absolutely love it and it's become kind of an icon in my family. It's basically the only game we all like to play and that we all understand how to play. So I'll miss it, when it goes, and that's why it's so memorable to me.
  • Time trials and speedruns. If you've seen my posts lately you'll know I'm a nut for finishing these when I really like a game. It's best in simpler-style games, imo. I love "mastering" a stage to get the best time.
  • Also, I still remember when I used to be active on my 3DS online. Good times. And Swapnote too.
  • Most recent probably: getting my Shiny Froakie in Pokémon X. I know it doesn't sound like much but it took a lot of time and dedication and I was getting frustrated about it and I cried from happiness when I got it.
  • Super Bonus Round from Spyro: Year of The Dragon is like the ultimate nostalgic singularity for me. Beating it was amazing. It took me 8 years to beat the yeti sledding minigame and I had to resort to a glitch exploit. It was my first game ever, so yeah(of course, I can beat it without much trouble now). Getting Yin Yang at the end was like my first big game achievement... I dunno? Getting 100% on Mario Galaxy with the help of a guide might have come sooner, though. However, I think Super Bonus Round was more memorable for me anyway.
  • Speaking of which, Spyro games as a whole. Both classic and Legend. They were basically my childhood, Year of The Dragon, then the GBA and DS games, and the Legend trilogy were basically alongside me when I was starting to grow up. This is the first gaming franchise where I really looked into it and saw what games there were- the very first games, the newer ones, the more niche ones... I also met a lot of friends from knowing about the Spyro franchise. The Legend trilogy inspired me to make art and write stories. And if it weren't for Spyro, I would probably never have been as interested in Skylanders as I am, which I'm playing now and forging new bonds with, so his legacy still goes on to me to this day. Spyro is a really important icon to me, not to mention my first video game was from this franchise. I would have still played video games with my parents' Super Mario Bros and N64, and Pokémon, and Crash Bandicoot, but Spyro was the first.

I think I had another, but I guess that's a good list. I've had many a good time with video games, and may that continue to go on.

My favorite gaming memory? Geeze, talk about a hard decision... Logging onto Guild Wars 2 and creating my Human Guardian, and walking around Shaemor for the first time. I fought off the centaurs attacking the fort (with a few friends) and then tried to explore some more. Of course, I walked right up to a few skritt and the had me downed before I even saw them... not once, but twice...

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
