His name was SUPPOSED to be Errol. Stupid translation errors.

Hmmm, that could be the case; although I think it's got more to do with the letter "R" used for the letter "L", or vice versa.
A good example is Gley Lancer (which is supposed to translate to Grey Lancer).
Though, I might be jumping to conclusions here.
