This theme music (plus the fact that you actually get to fight gym battles in a literal Pokémon stadium filled with thousands of people watching you) was the reason I was so forgiving of Sword and Shield's otherwise mediocre story. I never got to play the Pokémon Stadium series on N64 before so this was the first time I got to experience such an epic stadium experience like this.

And of course, you always, always go Dynamax ONLY during the bridge/cheer part of the song. C'mon, it's the rules.

@Kermit1 I'm listening to the anime version of the song, and it turns the epicness of the theme up to eleven:

I really need to watch Pokémon Journey some time.

Metroid Fusion Sector 4. Great track. I played the game, but I can not remember such a beautiful song.

Relaxing or happy video game music is pretty much the only thing I have been listening to, the last few years.

Eject by Senser
This is a bit different - I should love Senser. UK hip-hop / rap mixed with rock and a bit of thrash. A million miles away from fratty nu-metal. Never saw them live, but I've got a load of tapes of concerts, which are excellent. Their first single is just wonderful, so I bought their debut album the day it came out, and took it back an hour later. The funky, percussion-lead dynamics had been squashed in favour of a generic rock production, swallowing any sense of style. The music wasnt that good after the first album, but the first should've been immense. Anyways, the single mix of eject - the UK answer to PE & Anthrax:

They were before my time and I only discovered somewhat recently when I went to a music festival in one of those weird best/worst slots where they were on the punk stage at 2am after the main stages were closed so your stuck for options and an off face you so will see anyone. I didn't know who they were at the time but they won me over a fan! I've added them to my bandsintown but they don't seem to tour and only do a few festivals shows ever year.

Considering it's meant to be dance music why is both the crowd and the band not dancing?

Did you even watch the video? The crowd went wild during that performance.
And the band? Well... they need to play their instruments, don't they?

I listen to music before my time because I don't care about what people think about me.

I'm quirky so what. We all are different, live with that.

I've been listening to this non-stop.

Playing Digimon Survive and my Agumon finally evolved (to Tyrannomon). I literally went to YouTube and searched "Brave Heart." lmao

Oh god, the memories. The only thing this wonderful game is missing. lol It's even better that the situation when Agumon evolved was very similar to his evolution in Digimon Adventure, when the kids have literally lost all hopes of surviving (the main character in Digimon Survive literally wondered if they're gonna die) till that last minute evolution happened. God, the catharsis of Digimon evolution... I would've lost my mind if Brave Heart played at that moment in the game because that song was clearly written for a cathartic scene like that, bringing a hopeful melody rising up like it's an angel's hymn. It's literally a song meant for the "all hope is lost!" moment.

Just found out this exists. It's not an official Pokémon song. It's not good either. Just weird enough that I thought it's worth sharing.

It's its, not it's.

Almost reached the end of Digimon Survive's true route when everyone knows they're gonna leave the digital world soon and leave their partners, so I felt compelled to look up Digimon Tamers, which had a similar ending. The emotional music really didn't help. lol But I love it so much, so I'm listening to it right now:

I don't hear those guitars. Do you? XD Love the video, though. Both guitarists are strumming away at quite a busy pace. Are they hooked up to distortion pedals to make drum sounds? That's the only thing that makes sense. Or, are they are there just for theater/appearance?

I do want to know about the deal they(the guitars) are making! 😠😁 Did they make a deal with the drums and guitars to switch places? 😁

The new collab between Danger Mouse and Black Thought of The Roots is brill.

Also catching up with Clams Casino - didn't realise he had an Instrumentals 4 mixtape out! Still fantastic

That's the version on the album, so they are miming.
I guess it's just rhythm guitar? It's quite a layered, dense mix, so it'll just be filling out the mid range.
