I've only played the first Danganronpa but I thought it was really good (apart from the questionable portrayal of Toko's DPD and Chihiro's gender). The general concept of the game is a bit dark for my liking (I don't like overly violent or depressing stories), but there's plenty of humour which makes it easier for me to cope with, and I love the murder mystery aspect as well as the broader mystery spanning the whole game. Anyway, I've been told the second game is the best, so I'm looking forward to playing that but also a bit nervous...
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Zelda BotW was tedious.
I've never managed to find anything likeable about any of the Assassin's Creed games I've tried.
The two Doom reboots get really old, really quickly.
Dude, Haunted Castle sucks balls. I've tried, but it's so clunky and poorly designed. Apparently it was a completely unrelated title until the CV branding was used at the last moment.
On the other hand, the Double Dragon games are pretty easy once you get the hang. I enjoy them personally, and they don't overstay their welcome. Don't get me wrong, Streets of Rage 4 was a great game, but it's not one I'm ever likely to go for a 1CC on due to the length. The DD games can be polished off in 15-20 minutes once you've gotten into them. Renegade is still better than both of them though.
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty > Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
I played the 3DS version of Snake Eater, which granted, is considered to be a flawed port of the game. But the parts I didn't like were usually things that I'm pretty sure were from the original game, so I really don't get the hype.

snake eater is the "worst" of the main mgs games IMO. worst meaning it is still a great game, but falls so short compared to all other main mgs games. considering how kojima is known for some mindblowing mechanics and storytelling, mgs3 is just a very traditional game. it did have some of the coolest boss fights though. the end and the sorrow are amazing.
MGS2 does seem really up my alley for all the weird, meta commentary stuff. I was actually playing MGS1 a while ago before I accidentally shut off the PS3 before I could save after the Psycho Mantis boss, and I would've gotten back to it if my tv didn't die a death.
It sounds stupid, but I really prefer when enemies in these games had vision cones.
Unrealistic? Sure. But it was a great visual indicator for how far an enemy could see, and it made the stealthing more pleasant and less stressful.
If I recall correctly, MGS3 was the first game to rid itself of vision cones. Instead, you had a camouflage rating or something, but that never really told you when you were safe from the eyes of enemies. Bleh.
Also, Raiden is cute, so MGS2 has that going for it as well (not so much when he apparently goes full ninja edgelord in that Platinum spinoff).

Oh my gosh, someone else who shares my sentiments! I felt like she was a really strong character in Super Mario Galaxy. Much better than "Oh poor me, I'm getting abducted by Bowser for the 3,325,267th time" Peach.
@kkslider5552000 Looks like someone appreciated the invisibility potion scene in TTYD a little too much.
@Snatcher I mean... yeah. Rosalina is an epic space queen with a tragic backstory and her own mobile space station. Peach... is good at getting kidnapped and... likes making cake? Honestly, the fact that she hasn't drastically ramped up the security forces around her castle is telling about her judgment.

There was Super Princess Peach too where as a female character she uses her power of having emotions to the beat the game. Who says Peach's role in games is sexist!
@CactusMan Well the F1 and Gran Turismo games are realistic enough that F1 and Polyphony hold massive tournament events over them. Plus, some racers turn to online racing if they can’t get a budget for a real life campaign. Like Igor Fraga, who became a GT champion after winning the Toyota Racing Series...
Immersion for me gives people better emotional investment in games.
