I don't think Link's Awakening is different enough from LTTP or the other Gameboy Zeldas for me to remotely understand this (which I presume you like since saying nearly any Zelda isn't fun would be controversial here )

There are parts of Sonic 06 I genuinely enjoy other than the OST.

The level design, especially for Sonic, is very much full of different paths and ways to progress and goodies to find which is great. Sonic's broken gems are actually the best power ups in the game save for Silver's ground pound stun, since you can use them far more than intended and I think it makes parts of the game more accessible and open for different approaches.

I think Silver has merit in terms of gameplay. Namely in sort of pulling yourself through levels by manipulating the environment and if more was done with that beyond specific spots or standing on boxes and flying, I think it could be really cool. A bit of a spin on the Knuckles style exploration to stages.

Agreed. HATED the trading sequence, and, for some reason, it took me the longest time to figure out how to break the pillars in Eagle's Tower. Overall, I just didn't find the game to be terribly engaging.

Not necessarily a horrible game, but easily bottom-of-the-barrel Zelda.

Sonic 06 isn't a bad game because Sonic Team sucks. It's a bad game because it's a rushed, waaaaaaay too ambitious game made by people who decided that Shadow The Hedgehog (the game) was a good idea. And also thought that Sonic Adventure 1 had not aged poorly in any way whatsoever. Subtle but important difference. It's not impossible that it could've been a good game, but it needed both a different team and way more time.

Though if we're talking about Sonic, while it was blatantly surpassed by Sonic Colors (even the good parts), Sonic Unleashed Wii was a decently enjoyable little game. And I think I've seen enough footage to reasonably say people ignore a lot of issues with the HD version of Unleashed to think it's somehow a vastly better experience.

Sonic Unleashed Wii in my opinion is much better than Sonic Colors.
My favourite Sonic games EVER are: Sonic 1, Sonic Mania and Sonic Unleashed.
Yes, it is even better than Sonic 3K and Sonic CD for me. They are good games too anyway, but not THAT good.
I never liked Sonic 2 and never will. It is random, frustrating and while Sonic animations were improved everything else looked worse than the first game. Music was rather meh too.

Super Mario Run is possibly the most enjoyable to play and replay of all of the 2d Mario games.

I await your hate and disgust.

I could only believe this statement if the only other 2d Mario game you played is ''Mario is Missing''

@StuTwo I'd agree as far as the New series goes. It's by far the best iteration of that formula

I see lots of "PS2 is the best console ever" stuff on the internet and I couldn't disagree more. I think it might had been the worst console of that gen...but not the worst ever to clarify. Sega was doing lots of creative stuff on the Dreamcast and it really showed they let their dev teams do whatever they wanted, multiplats on Xbox had better graphics and framerates plus I also think Microsoft's inhouse stuff was great too, and Gamecube had a really strong library. Sure PS2 had a ton of games but there was also an overwhelming amount of garbage on it kinda like the Wii. I still like the PS2 a lot but I think it's far from best console ever. PLEASE NOTE I'M NOT INCLUDING BC IN THIS. ONLY GOING ON THE PS2 LINEUP AND IT'S MERITS AS A CONSOLE.

PS2, imo, was easily the best console of that gen, with an incredibly diverse library, a huge amount of third party support, and a TON of awesome exclusives.

@faint I was more responding to the people talking about the PS2 library, but OK, here's one I'm pretty sure is unpopular:

Super Mario World is my least favorite 2D Mario game. The weird music, lack of interesting power-ups (and the one really prominent new power-up it had was overpowered as heck), annoying ghost houses, and boring level design put it just ahead of the dreadful Super Mario 64 at the bottom of the pile for me.

Not a huge NSMB fan, but I'd put any of those games ahead of World.

Thought Undertale was boring before it was popular to hate the game, Thought Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Lost World were decent, I think Pokemon games are all to samey for me despite still buying them, thought Mario 64 aged poorly in controls, I think games with realistic graphics look dull, Thought Sonic CD was god awful excluding music and graphics of course, thought Sonic Colors Wii (Not DS)was god awful excluding music and graphics of course, didnt like Sonic Adventure 2 as much as I liked Adventure 1 despite Adventure 2 being the first game I have ever played, thought the Melee physics were unfinished in a negative way, Super Metroids controls didnt age that well imo, Thought Mighty No. 9 wasnt that bad as people were saying, I thought Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts was good, and I liked Sonic R and Sonic the Fighter a lot (sure is a lot of Sonic on here).

Fight me (please don't I am just doing what the topic title tells me).

Also, PUBG solo is boring. I just don't know how people do it. I keep wanting to like it since I have a good time in duo and squad but I think that's more cause I'm playing with friends.

I think I've said this before, but pretty much all of the SNES versions of Nintendo's big hitters are my least favorites. Super Mario World, A Link to the Past, and Super Metroid are all at the bottom of my personal list for their respective series. But if you ask me why, I honestly couldn't really tell you. They just didn't click with me like the other games do.

@RancidVomit86 I don't know. PS2 is one of my favourite consoles ever, but I would find it hard to give a more objective opinion about this, and about my other favourite consoles too (Gamecube and Wii).
Wii for example is too controversial to say it objectively is the best console ever, and the Gamecube too, despite not having controversial features as the Wii had I'm not sure I could say it is the best console ever.
Now that I think of it maybe I'd say the best console ever are SNes, PS1 and Gameboy color (which is fully compatible with older Gameboy games too)... But my favourite still are PS2, GC and Wii (and now Switch expecially if it keeps up with the great work Nintendo has done for now ) and will always be.

About Super Mario World: I don't like it either. The worst thing about it are the controls, way too fast, responsive and difficult to handle. Plus the music and grphics were nothing special. I don't like it but I like Super Mario 64. Other Mario games are even better and it doesn't look that good today but it is still fun and I don't see all those problems with the camera and controls that some of you talk about

@Sir_Anthony Nope - it's just an astonishingly good (if slight) game. It's incredibly welcoming and inventive (boss battles in an auto runner!) but it also distils everything great about Mario games. The levels are incredibly dense in secrets, Mario's jump always feels perfectly within your control and it turns Mario into a very addictive competitive asynchronous multiplayer game (meaning it is in many ways much more re-playable than any other game in the series).

...whether I actually really think it's the best is of course a different issue but I do think you could make the (unpopular argument) that it is.

Fair enough, if you ask me, Mario Run's gameplay is a bit too simplistic to be called the best 2D Mario. But I haven't played all of it so perhaps some of the later levels give the game more depth.

I was actually just curious if you would defend your opinion by making that joke, and you did with valid reasoning, I respect that
