That's a tough one. I do love the Pokémon games (as lackluster as they have been in recent years), and I prefer Pokémon designs by and large, but I love the Digimon anime and the idea of having a partner with branching/alternating evolutions.

If I had to choose between being a hero in either series, I would choose Digimon, no question about it, and I would love to have an angelic Digimon as my partner (with MarineAngemon as the Mega form).
