I think I voted for the Crash song because of lowered expectations for it compared to a Smash song. I did not remember the GBA Crash games having music that good.
Tiki torture. Big budget remix means nothing if I don't feel the lava themes.
Dang it, the former choice is a good song but David Wise Brings it.
Molten crater is a good song but this was better.
Once again a good song beaten by a better one.. Magmoor brings the better atmosphere.

Victors from the opening round are Crash 2: N-Tranced at 5-3, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze at 6-3, Kirby Air Ride at 6-2, and Metroid Prime at 7-1.

Wish Kirby wouldve been part of the fourth vote, then this round was easier! But I can't vote against that guitar solo in the third minute of F-Zero. That Fire Field theme was the perfect sound for a race on that crazy track.
Undertale and Wario was also a close call, the others were more clear winners for me.
I voted for Undertale, but it always surprises me (in a good way) when another game references Paper Mario like with "Mt. Lava Lava". I did not remember that was in that game.
Looks like I just tipped the balance on one of the games - the others I picked were either already winning or were losing by too much for my vote to make a difference.
Good category this - I’m enjoying the fire music. Very different approaches, too.

Based on the results so far, my taste in music definitely differs from the crowd. Honestly didnt think this was a strong round, songs from previous rounds grabbed my attention better. Digging the vibe in the Sonic Adventure song from this round!
Super Mario 3D World comes out on top with a score of 4-2, Klonoa follows also at 4-2, Mega Man 9 wins at 4-2 as well, and Sonic Adventure rounds things out at 4-3. Link to the bracket
Starting to realize Inferno/Lava themes aren't my thing. Not a huge surprise, I usually tend to enjoy such areas the least in games. For some reason I affiliate much more with Ice/Snowy areas or of course your starting Grassy fields.
As for the music, think the castle version of SMM2 was my favorite out of all these. I nominated the Banjo Tooie track, but it is paired with it's absolute counterpart genre-wise. Still get a real Lava/Hot feeling with it, while YS reminds me more of the previous competition - RPG Battle Music.
