@Sunsy
Btw, what creature of Velvet and Veneer from Trolls Band Together?
Because I noticed a mistranslation from English to Indonesian subtitle in my country when Floyd mentioned both of them as Succubus creatures but when I checked his dialogue from YouTube, he didn't literally say Velvet and Veneer were Succubus creatures because Succubus creatures are like Morrigan and Lilith. I tried to heard closely and I heard Floyd mentioned they were Succupine creature or maybe they are Rageous creature because they are from Mount Rageous and Rageous creatures with noodle hairs and skinny body didn't even look like Succubus creatures.
Btw, I was surprised RuPaul, the famous drag queen voicing Miss Maxine as the priest for the wedding of two Bergens.
@PrimeMaxDiscord hi! Before you go, Im gonna say Ill still be here from time to time maybe Ill join you guys on discord from time to time. Its been great having you!
@Princess_Lilly It's OK, no harm done. I've had a tendency to reply late as well, lol. Life can get a bit busy for me at times, too. I usually have my notifications unread (in other words, my number of notifications won't go down) so I know to reply to them when I can. Here's my holiday drawing, by the way!
I'm happy with how the drawing turned out. I've done it the retro way with things like drawing pencils, and a good chunk of it was done with still life. I did get a suggestion that the whole thing be colored as well. Perhaps I could do that... but I don't want to tamper with my hard work too much! I wanna do another Christmas drawing this year... provided I'm not too busy with stuff lol. I've been thinking of basing my next drawing on the Merry Mountain train... perhaps on a different angle!
That's awesome, I got my Switch a few months after it originally came out in 2017. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the first game I got for it, and I got Breath of the Wild soon after. I got Super Mario Odyssey the day it came out and loved every moment of it. Yeah, the screen protector is pretty hard to get on... thank goodness I got mine on. That was my second attempt. Agreed with you on platformers... it's my favorite genre in general. Loved them since I was young.
Do you wanna add me on the Switch, by the way? I was thinking of putting my friend code on this thread so we can play online. (I'd have it on my signature, but I kept getting so many random friend requests.)
@Sunsy All righty, cool. I remember my grandmother would have a garland on her tree, we just don't use them so it's just the lights, ornaments, star, and train for me. We used to have an angel for our tree, now we have the Mario star right on top! A Rosalina tree topper would be fabulous... though I don't think they make those right now. What kind of train do you have for your tree, if you don't mind me asking?
Oh nice! I loved Luca when I saw it on Disney+, I won't mind seeing it in theaters. I've not seen Turning Red, though. That's cool, no judgment there. I have a Mario-themed bed myself.
Yeah, I normally play online games casually. Most of the time when I play Splatoon 3, I play Turf War matches or Salmon Run. I sometimes play in the ranked battles though. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I almost always do races online. Haven't done too much of battle mode since I'm not great at it. Yeah... I do recommend S3, but not its DLC until Side Order comes out. Side Order seems to play like a rougelike, do you like those kind of games?
Yeah I would've got them by now as well. Thanks! That'd be cool to share pictures of your ornaments and stuff.
Gotcha, yeah I do save those plain shirts for anything formal as well. Good to hear your brother thought of you that way... I'm the same way, I do want myself and others to feel comfortable no matter what kind of occasion that's being dealt with. I'm not a fan of fashion trends either... I also like wearing whatever I like, my Mario tees for example.
@Eel
Ah...
That's why I found a mistranslation about Velvet and Veneer as giant Succubus who can suck the talents here in Indonesia when Floyd described them to John Dory.
What did Floyd say to John Dory about Velvet and Veneer ?
Floyd said like this from my non native English understanding.
"You don't understand. Velvet and Veneer are giant pop obsessed succub with no talents and they've been stealing mine."
@MarioLover92 Nice art! Wish i could draw nicely....
Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)
Since last month, I felt lost of gaming appetite so I tend to not playing any games after working time.
But if I can play my games, it will be very short as I quickly feel sleepy or tired during playing my games.
Is that normal for having burnout feeling?
I stopped watching a couple years ago after I felt the show wasn't really worth my time. I can just rewatch any highlights. Though I do slightly regret missing Flute Guy last year.
@MarioLover92 You can make cmd (or command prompt) programs with C# as well, but there are also visual elements to the language through WinForms (older) or WPF (newer). Very similar to Visual Basic in that regard, though in this day and age C# is much more heavily used last I knew. I took a class on both VB and C# in college. I can be a visual learner depending on the material, but typically memorization and learning by doing seem to work better for me. I've never used MS-DOS outside of an emulated environment; like you, the first Windows machine I recall touching was my family's Windows 95 box.
I keep meaning to tuck into a new 3DS RPG, but the question is...when. Leaning towards Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey when I do get the chance, but I might opt for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology too. Switch was and normally is my top system these days, but I've been spending more time on PC this week with Ys: The Oath In Felghana. I have drifting down fairly well in MK8D (I think), but turbos are a bit harder sometimes. The main thing is I don't know some of the tracks well, so I'm not well-versed in many shortcuts. Then of course there's the item RNG....I can also relate on hamstringing myself with green shells.
@Sunsy The banker was, understandably, one of the "best" occupations that meant someone had money sitting around in that time period. Still applies today in some ways, depending on the position held. I too think I used the banker many times to make runs easier lol.
To be fair, there's been a time or two when I had carrot cake that was tolerable, but I think that was because cream cheese was incorporated into the icing. According to my mom, there are also "lazy" ways to make it that basically involve introducing carrot pieces to spice cake. Which may be part of the problem.
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)

Sounds like you're just getting older, like the majority of us here
Maybe try some exercise games to boost your endorphins like Ring Fit Adventure, Fitness Boxing or Switch Sports. Alternatively, consider taking up walking or jogging. Any pastime can become a chore if you don't have plenty of variety in your life, but I'd definitely consider prioritising exercise if I were you. It's had a dramatic effect on my life in the past when it comes to energy and mental health.
Aerobic activities are perhaps the best known way to boost energy and stamina. Not only do they help reset your metabolism, but they also help to improve mood and sleep.
There are so many benefits from it with very few downsides, so it can't hurt to try. Sure, it takes time but you often end up getting this back by extending your healthy life, whilst also giving yourself the energy and mental clarity to achieve your life goals. Are you able to do much exercise outside of work these days, Anti-Matter?
@Jalex_64
Okay, thanks for the tips. ☺
I will try one activity that can boost my gaming mood back.
Sometimes I don't play games at all because I still struggle to choose which games I want to play on that day.
I have hundreds of games collection and I have a lot of backlogs to finish such as my PS4, PS3, PS2, Wii, Wii U, Gamecube, 3DS, NDS, sometimes it's too much for me to finish one game.
