@ThatWeirdGuy it's such a shame that good anime are so scarce nowadays, seems like it's just isekai shonen left and right. What genres do you like? Also, do you also read manga or do you just watch anime?

@ThatWeirdGuy I read Komi until the episode with the crazy girl locking someone up in the closet, then I kinda drifted away to some other things. I really like slice of life manga and anime, Yuru Camp is my favorite, Non non biyori is great too, I recently started reading Ayakashiko (I mean, started might be an understatement since I'm almost at the end).
Also, magical girl anime and manga, of course. The classics, like Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon, but also the newest iterations like Madoka.
The best romance anime I watched was Toradora, but it made me realize that I didn't really care for romance as much as interaction between all the characters.

@ThatWeirdGuy nah, I read when I have some more time, but I mostly play video games. It's a pretty big habit of mine, I spend waaay too much time on it, it's actually one of my resolutions to play less. The fact that nobody except for Nintendo and few indies can make good games anymore kinda helps.
yeah I forgot how funny Toradora could be. My favorite joke was when Taiga spilled something on the floor and tried to clean it and Ryuugi started having a breakdown in the closet where he was hiding with other guys
also the classic miunderstanding trope

Anytime I start a new playthrough of "Banjo-Kazooie", I have to do my mandatory "game over sequence" after entering Gruntilda's Lair for the first time (for...reasons). After that, I play the game like normal.
@MarioLover92 A belated Happy New Year to you as well. I would definitely support you drawing Rosalina next! Not that I'm biased towards her or anything lol. On your own time and when you're up for it of course. On programming: You made a choice-based text adventure game in C++? That would've been interesting! Do you have the project out there somewhere to show others? I did a command prompt based text adventure in C# a few years back just to mess around a bit. I called it Beg Aunt Bertha. I can link it if you'd like. Been awhile since I've accessed my GitHub account TBH.
Mulan is an amazing movie, though I admittedly haven't seen the live-action film (I've avoided many of the more modern ones). I think Who Framed Roger Rabbit is what put me off of the cartoons mixed with reality aesthetic, though I didn't realize at the time it was geared towards an older audience. I just thought the film was weird lol.
I'm sure Super Mario RPG has sold pretty well on the Switch. Hopefully the game found a new, wider audience! Which would be deserved IMO. I'm quite looking forward to Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door's rerelease, namely since it'll be an affordable way for me to finally play the game without bothering emulating it.
Yeah...I'll admit the grand prix cups in MK8D got a bit same-y after a few times through. I could've used a story mode other than "Dude, let's race!". Even if it was something simple and silly, like many main series Mario story lines. I'm sure Mario Kart 9 will surface eventually, hopefully fixing the few issues that 8D does have.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
