@NeonPizza this is hilarious. Some no name youtuber wannabe is going to tell us what to play with because he can't play properly. My advice is not to get angry with someone who clearly isn't worth our time. I wouldnt bother if I were you, and as a much better, more experienced and knowledgeable gamer than whoever that random is, I hereby decree that you can play whatever you want on whatever controller you have with any option you want. You don't have to eat soup with a fork because there were no spoons when the game came out.
Motion controls should be a standard for every single FPS game out there for a long time. Switch has the motion control controllers, PS5 has them too (even better, Quake 2 on PS5 was a breeze because of how marvelous the steering was, it was more comfortable than a mouse and that is not an exaggeration). If I come across an FPS with no motion controls, I immediately drop out. There are some games that I stick with, like Ion Fury, but let's face it it's just 20 mins no brain retroshooter. But even in Ion Fury I miss the precision of gyro.

Also a few words of warning, Im gonna be much more active in the next few days because I got a new keyboard and I love the way it clicks, it's seriously so good, I totally love it, I write sentences just because the clicking is so soothing.
So yeah, whatever bothers you, troubles you, whatever you want to talk about, Im in for a talk. Clickety click, clickety click.
Yes I am excited like a little girl. No, I am not ashamed one little bit.

@NeonPizza is it really the computers that ruined the world? I certainly did think that at some point, but let's face it, it was people all along. Widespread internet access only allowed the idiots to shine. Same with the smartphones (Idk about Iphones since it's waaay to obscure company for me, I like lesser known companies as they sometimes make good products but apple has legendarily bad quality). It's not the smartphone's fault that someone wrote a stupid comment on social media.
@Link-Hero Tbh I don't even know who this guy is and judging by my 20 seconds research, he's nobody.

Migration movie combo was disappointing.
Before Migration movie played, the short movie of Minions was really stupid and not interesting at all.
I gave the score 0 / 10.
Rubbish short movie.
Meanwhile for Migration, the beginning part was quite intimidating due to the preach of scary things the world outside. The story was pretty weak in my opinion as those ducks met with three different birds with very short character developments and annoying repitition of doing something, something that being highlighted by Illumination studio.
Anyway, I gave the score 6 / 10 for Migration and I don't think I want to watch again.
@Sunsy Funnily enough, despite the memes, I never had too many issues with dysentery in the Oregon Trail games. Just...many of the other things. I've noticed you playing that Trolls game, so I hope it's to your liking!
Indeed, actually I don't remember running into dysentery often when I played the game. Maybe I just got lucky with that in The Oregon Trail. I love it, a friend gave me it as an early Christmas gift. Few bugs aside, they really did a good job capturing the Trolls world in the game. It plays like an early 2000's licensed game, and made me feel nostalgic since I use to play some of those during the GameCube era.
They did replace the voice actors with lesser known ones, but I find it awesome Poppy is voiced by her VA for the Netflix series.
Aw, that's a nice scene as well... I remember that vividly since I saw it this month. Also I'd like to add that on Christmas Eve, my mom and I have also seen Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas. Did you ever see that one? It's a cute and charming Christmas special, it's got three stories rolled into one hour-long movie.
It's not a dumb question at all! There actually have been - there's a level in Super Mario Galaxy called Toy Time Galaxy, and three of its stars start out with Mario hopping aboard a toy train to the launch star. Super Mario 3D World has a few levels that take place on a Bowser-themed train where you'd fight Pom Pom at the end. In Yoshi's Island, one of Yoshi's vehicle transformations is, you guessed it, a train. A few courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe have trains in them too - namely Kalimari Desert, N64 Rainbow Road, Super Bell Subway, and Merry Mountain. Same thing with a few boards in the Mario Party series... there's Western Land from Mario Party 2, Toy Dream from Mario Party 5, and Shy Guy's Perplex Express from Mario Party 8.
Indeed, it was pretty cool that he loved trains back in the day. It's probably a more obscure piece of Disney trivia, so I'm glad we both got to learn that. Some of the classic Disney cartoons and movies have trains in them too, and I know there's train rides at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, as well.
That'd be cool to get that new Trolls bed set. Nice, that's cool. I did like the anime as a kid, and I tried really hard to get into the games... but couldn't at the time, unfortunately. I was 7 years old when I first played Pokemon, and it was my first time playing an RPG, so I couldn't really grasp its gameplay. My younger brother got into the Pokemon series quite a bit more than I did. It wasn't until Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door where I started to grasp RPGs more.
I've not played The Conduit. It does sound a bit weird though. Yeah... I like it when people play fair, as well. Some people just love to cheat online, I guess. Though, looking back at what happened to me in Mario Kart Wii, it was a pretty hilarious moment. I cannot believe I even raced against a hacker... lol! No rush on checking my time trial record. That's cool.
There's a Dreamcast ornament? Didn't know they made one. I remember that, I still don't have that ornament yet, but if I come across it, I'll pick it up for sure.
Good to hear on all that. I like your gifts, by the way... especially the Poppy shirt that says "turn it up!" On my drawing, thank you! I'm quite happy with how it turned out! Merry Christmas to you as well!
Nice, I did watch a couple of Christmas movies on Christmas day. I think I might have seen it once before, and I kind of want to watch it again. I think I will do that soon. I do watch Christmas stuff and listen to Christmas music into early January to enjoy it or watch stuff I missed before I put it away for the year.
Oh ok, now that you mention it, I remember the train in Super Mario 3D World now. Looks like I competely forgot about the Mario Kart tracks too as I had mainline Mario on my mind, lol. I still need to play Yoshi's Island more.
Obscure trivia like that is fun. Maybe not a train, doesn't one of the Disney parks have a monorail? I'd imagine there have been Disney cartoons with trains in them too, even if I can't think of any off hand.
Hopefully one day. That sounded like me the first time I played Super Mario RPG when my dad rented it. I had no idea what I was doing or what an RPG was. I actually thought it would play like other Mario games at the time too. Oddly enough, it was Pokemon that helped me understand RPGs better too. At least the series had its spin-offs like Pokemon Snap (I still need to get the new one on Switch), and Pokemon Pinball (still have the cart).
It was, I kept shooting this player in the match and his character just was invincible. He even clipped through walls. It was a fun game, gave the Wii an online shooter game, but man, running into a cheater was not fun at all. Cheaters are no fun to deal with, though it does create rather weird moments. PC games tend to have anti-cheat on them.
Yeah, I saw it on Instagram, I think the Dreamcast ornament is new for this year too.
They were good gifts, those two are my favorite ones though. I did get Sonic Superstars. You're welcome and thanks!
@Sunsy IDK why I'm saying this, but if I had a "Trolls" OC, they'd be one of those "Mount Rageous" citizens, who'd be a good singer (but has really bad stage fright), and his closest friend would be a Troll.
Because I'm the Trolls guy here. That sounds like a rather cool OC idea.
@Sunsy
Is there any Game Over screen from Sonic Superstars?
Or there is No lives limit so you can continue the game no matter how many times you fell into bottomless put / died?
@Anti-Matter Surprisingly, I haven't noticed a lives system, or a game over screen. Then again, I'm decent at Sonic games. Quick search made me find this Game Rant article that says lives and the game over screen were removed.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy
All right.
Sounds very easy for newbie players.
If there is no game over screen / limited lives system, I might get motivated to play Sonic Superstars.
I saw Switch version have slightly better (crispier) background behind than PS5 version that supposed to get way better graphics (PS5 version have blurry background behind).
Also a few words of warning, Im gonna be much more active in the next few days because I got a new keyboard and I love the way it clicks, it's seriously so good, I totally love it, I write sentences just because the clicking is so soothing.

Can’t blame you, I freaking love the sound of keyboards! And if it’s as good of a sound as you say it is! Then I would be do the same thing you are.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

this late at night, i decided to renew my Netflix subscription. Still cant believe that Standard with no ads is now 15 bucks. damn. Standard with ads is like 5 or 6.99. if i want to watch a show or a movie with ads on a streaming site, ill go watch something on Hulu and Tubi.
Dunno why but im going to start watching that Virgin River show. just noticed that the new Resident Evil Death Island animated movie is on Netflix. Thats pretty cool. guess ill watch that and if i like it ill buy the DVD or blu ray from walmart or whatever.
Besides, the new season of Kevin Smith's Masters of the Universe show comes on later this month
@Snatcher yeah it;s the most clickety keyboard I've had yet. It's perfect. It's so absolutely perfect, the keys are pretty deep. I'ts also wireless so I can set up my drawing tablet however I want. I think I'm gonna write some longer piece but I don't even know what it should be about, lol.
Come to me, weary and scared, I'm gonna give you all some advice, I need some excuse for wrtiting
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
Been playing the heck out of Super Mario RPG. Got the Switch remake as a Christmas present and liking every minute of it. This is the first time I have the game as a physical copy, too... I never had it for the SNES and I first played it on the Wii Virtual Console.
@Sunsy Glad to hear you're enjoying Sonic Superstars. That's a game I want to get at some point. How does it compare to Sonic Mania? Because I did love that game.
That's cool. Christmas day was spent opening presents, and helping my mom make dinner. That'd be cool to see it again. Yeah, I'm pretty much the same way, I have my Christmas decorations up until mid-January or so. Since not only are the holidays over for now, but also, my birthday's on January.
Oh that's all right, it happens. I forgot to mention that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker has a few train levels, too! Yoshi's Island is a fantastic game in general... it's one of my favorites from my childhood.
Yep that's right, Walt Disney World has a monorail that folks can go on, it goes by Epcot. I know they have those old-fashioned steam trains that you could ride, too... one of the locomotives there has Walt Disney's name right on her! (In case you're not aware, trains can be referred to as a she, just like with boats or ships.) You may remember that one scene in The Aristocats where Marie and the other two kittens would walk on the railroad tracks and pretend to be a train... so cute!
Lol, we're polar opposites in that regard! I don't blame you, RPGs can be a little daunting at first. Heck, they're still a little daunting for me... just look at how long they tend to be! At least the Mario RPGs tend to be shorter, about 20-30 hours or so. I did hear New Pokemon Snap is pretty good, that's another game I'd like to get since I did like the Nintendo 64 one.
Dang. Was that the only instance of you being matched up with a hacker? I only came across that one hacker in Mario Kart Wii once, most people I played with played legitimately. It's also the only time I came across a hacker, period.
That's awesome to hear, once again, glad to hear you're liking Superstars!
@MarioLover92 that's great, have fun packing the presents! I dont know how they smell yet, gotta buy them and burn them. Its probably gonna smell like a forest, its green and there are many fir trees in Moomin Valley
Thanks! I know it's a late reply, but I did wrap them all before Christmas. Everyone loved what I got them. Hope you had a nice holiday.
@MarioLover92 I like learning about many things, especially when it comes to puzzles, logic, and patterns/sequencing, which programming can provide in spades. But yeah, I'm VERY rusty when it comes to C++ lol. I picked up making animations somewhat well at the time, but I was never good with designing skin cubes and wraps for characters. We are never too old to learn, in fact we're learning all the time. Though I do think learning is easier and our brains are usually spongier when we're kids. I was practically raised on many Disney and early Pixar films, in fact many that you listed off are some of my favorites. I'd also add The Incredibles, The Emperor's New Groove, Oliver & Company, The Rescuers (both the original and Down Under), and the original Fantasia. I've seen many classic Disney films too, though I will confess I've never seen Mary Poppins or Peter Pan (though I know what happens in this film thanks to a Golden Book back in the day). I think that 101 Dalmations rerelease is why it jumped in popularity and is probably what I was raised on too! Same with the live action film with Glenn Close. It isn't quite as good as the animated version, but I still really enjoy it and thank it's one of the few good live action Disney adaptations. Not that I'm biased or anything.
I'm up for trying out many types of games in general, though I'm not as into standard card games. I can do Solitaire and Hearts and used to know how to play Blackjack, but that's about it. I really like the BeanBean Kingdom and hope Nintendo revisits it sometime should the M&L series ever be revived outside of remakes...not too likely with Alphadream's closure unless Nintendo hands over the reins to someone else though. The softlock I encountered in Partners In Time had to do with an earlier tutorial with the Hammer Bros with the babies. Details are here. Supposedly the North American version is buggier compared to other regions since it released first.
Yep, AC:NH can be a heck of a time sink. Not that I still don't play timesinks, but I'm very choosy about which ones these days. It's insane how well MK8D continues to sell, but that's the mark of a good, well-rounded game. Even crazier that it dethroned the original Super Mario Bros. I'm sure there will be a new Mario Kart within the next few years, but I do agree it'll show up for the system that follows the current Nintendo Switch.
@MarioLover92 No worries your way as well; as mentioned above, I too have been quite busy. I'm glad I was able to see your finished drawing! Love it.
Lol, yeah I'm very rusty when it comes to C++ as well. Been a while since I last done it. Yeah, I think C++ encourages creative thinking, especially if something goes wrong while you're writing your code. Ah yeah that's a good point you made about how learning is easier when we were kids... I guess it depends on what generation you grew up in as well. I'm a bit better with using PCs than using smartphones and tablets, for example, since I've used Windows since I was very young. I've used Macs a decent amount of times too, but I've always been more exposed to Windows.
That's awesome, Disney's made quite an impact on both of our childhoods, and many others, huh? I've seen a few of those movies you've mentioned (Oliver & Company and The Rescuers - the original one), though that was a long time ago. I heard Down Under is really good, I've not seen that one. Mary Poppins is a great movie, I've seen the whole movie with my mom earlier this year and we both loved it. I've not seen its sequel, though. I've also seen Peter Pan a long, long time ago... I still remember a few parts of it. Nice... I've not seen the live-action version, but did know of its presence thanks to a preview in that Toy Story VHS we had.
That's good to hear. I can play those two as well, been familiar with them since they came bundled with Windows. I've never played Blackjack. Ah yeah, it blows that AlphaDream is no longer with us... I wonder if Nintendo themselves, or a second-party studio would be able to continue the Mario & Luigi series? Ah gotcha, I don't recall coming across any glitches or softlocks when I played Partners in Time. Guess I got a bit lucky, lol.
I wonder what's next for the Mario Kart series... I'm definitely interested in seeing what Nintendo will do next. It might be tough to really top 8 Deluxe, given that the game now has a whopping 96 courses. We still have yet to see an adventure mode of some kind... perhaps that would be a replacement for the Grand Prix mode from the other games? We've seen an adventure mode in both Diddy Kong Racing and Crash Team Racing. They could have missions in a Mario Kart adventure mode too, Mario Kart DS had a mission mode and that was pretty fun.
So glad you loved my drawing! I'm very happy with how it turned out. I wonder what I should draw next?
Starting New Year's Day, I'll be using the forums solely to post my art, no more getting into constant fights.
"Constant fights?" I'm curious... have people on Nintendo Life actually tried arguing with you? I still don't recall seeing you get into any heated debates, sure I did reply to a few of your posts, but I never tried starting an argument. I do know that the comment sections in NL's articles tend to get very heated.
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."
Favorite games: Super Mario 3D World, Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Playing: Hollow Knight
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Also...
I have spent $50.53 eshop fund for the heavily discounted eshop games, especially the $1.99 games and I found some of those games are rubbish.
I deleted them right away after played them for several minutes.
But I still have more purchased eshop games that I thought they still have potential to play.
