Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone is having a good Christmas today.
For me, spent the day watching some Christmas stuff with mom (The Christmas Chronicles, Santa Clause 3, and going to watch Trolls Holiday in Harmony shortly). I got some nice Trolls stuff including a few Troll dolls, but my favorite has to be this Viva plushie and Poppy fleece.
As for games, I just got Trolls Remix Rescue, albeit early when I exchanged gifts with my friend. Just waiting on my brother to bring by his gift, I hope he got me Sonic Superstars. Though not a gift, did enjoy some of the Holiday Ops event in World of Tanks Blitz over the past few days, won two games on Christmas Eve.

Hope everyone had a lovely day. My Christmas was another good one... got stuff like Super Mario RPG, a Nintendo eShop card, and - get this - a Mario edition Switch OLED! (Just gotta figure out how to transfer all my stuff to that.) I even got a couple of classic Disney films on blu-ray - namely Sleeping Beauty and Alice in Wonderland. I'll count me finishing my drawing as a present as well... so glad I got it done! (I forgot to tag you, @Fizza, my bad... I thought you'd like to see my drawing.)
Indeed, or the scene where Noelle speaks sign language magically to the girl, like she suddenly knew it. That scene always gets me and mom. :')
I know this is a dumb question, but now I must ask, has there ever been any Mario games where a train appears? I'm trying to remember now. That does sound like a cool idea for a train set. I didn't know Walt Disney was a fan of trains, that's some cool trivia.
Nice, I just stuck with character bedding from teen years on. Actually, I'm hoping to get the new Trolls set one of these days since I have the bed set from the first two movies. I use to be big on Pokemon too, when I was a teen, I actually would wear Pokemon shirts and play the games often. I still do like the series even if I'm not massive into it as I once was. Had it since I was little, still gets some use too.
Wii hackers reminded me of the old Sega game, The Conduit. It was an FPS game by Sega, and I once came across someone my character emptied an entire clip into, and nothing happened. Sadly, he was using hacks. I don't mind cheat codes in offline games, for example codes intentionally built into the game (like the Konami code, or level select codes in Sonic for examples), but cheating online is just wrong. It ruins the fun for everyone. None taken, I haven't played Rocket League yet, even after it went free. Yeah, that's why I prefer Wii over DS' four race requirement. If I played a cheater in MKDS, I would have to finish the races, or face some sort of penalty for disconnecting. At least on MKWii, I could just play one race, then disconnect and join another matchmaking queue. Oh ok, I'll check next time. Yeah, I usually use Discord voice chat when playing with my IRL friends. As I mentioned in the genres you don't like thread, it's muscle memory pressing mute at the start of all Apex matches, lol.
I want to get the SNES one and the Dreamcast one, I got both systems for Christmas. They made a sound ornament for Dreamcast this year, with a light up VMU screen. The Sonic and Tails one is cool, it's Tails holding onto Sonic and flying.
Yeah, it was a lot of breaks, also, I had my 3DS with me that night, I was playing Mighty Switch Force a lot that night. Indeed they are.
Yes, I'm doing good, thanks for asking. Just been playing the new Trolls game on Switch and Jagged Alliance on PC. Also, pretty much ready for Christmas. Hope things are well with you too.
Aw, that's a nice scene as well... I remember that vividly since I saw it this month. Also I'd like to add that on Christmas Eve, my mom and I have also seen Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas. Did you ever see that one? It's a cute and charming Christmas special, it's got three stories rolled into one hour-long movie.
It's not a dumb question at all! There actually have been - there's a level in Super Mario Galaxy called Toy Time Galaxy, and three of its stars start out with Mario hopping aboard a toy train to the launch star. Super Mario 3D World has a few levels that take place on a Bowser-themed train where you'd fight Pom Pom at the end. In Yoshi's Island, one of Yoshi's vehicle transformations is, you guessed it, a train. A few courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe have trains in them too - namely Kalimari Desert, N64 Rainbow Road, Super Bell Subway, and Merry Mountain. Same thing with a few boards in the Mario Party series... there's Western Land from Mario Party 2, Toy Dream from Mario Party 5, and Shy Guy's Perplex Express from Mario Party 8.
Indeed, it was pretty cool that he loved trains back in the day. It's probably a more obscure piece of Disney trivia, so I'm glad we both got to learn that. Some of the classic Disney cartoons and movies have trains in them too, and I know there's train rides at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, as well.
That'd be cool to get that new Trolls bed set. Nice, that's cool. I did like the anime as a kid, and I tried really hard to get into the games... but couldn't at the time, unfortunately. I was 7 years old when I first played Pokemon, and it was my first time playing an RPG, so I couldn't really grasp its gameplay. My younger brother got into the Pokemon series quite a bit more than I did. It wasn't until Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door where I started to grasp RPGs more.
I've not played The Conduit. It does sound a bit weird though. Yeah... I like it when people play fair, as well. Some people just love to cheat online, I guess. Though, looking back at what happened to me in Mario Kart Wii, it was a pretty hilarious moment. I cannot believe I even raced against a hacker... lol! No rush on checking my time trial record. That's cool.
There's a Dreamcast ornament? Didn't know they made one. I remember that, I still don't have that ornament yet, but if I come across it, I'll pick it up for sure.

What is everyone’s favorite gift? (I know it is hard!) I would have to say a pair of slippers (I do love my comfy outfits!) As far as gaming stuff goes, I got some cash I will be using to grab some more amiibo… More and more and MORE!
@CaleBoi25 it is hard! To pick just one. Ok if I have to pick, gee. It’s pick just one, goodness this is so hard, um the dark souls trilogy. These three games are the last three left for me the play, and the best part is that they come with all the dlc!

@CaleBoi25 The Trolls shirt and plushie I shared on the previous page are my favorite. Gaming related, Sonic Superstars (I have yet to play it, hoping to today), and Trolls Remix Rescue I got early when I exchanged gifts with a friend.
Funnily enough, I didn't notice Sonic Superstars had a reverse cover until I read the comment in the Nintendo Life alternative game awards article, lol.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

I’m nearing the end of Super Mario RPG, been playing on Breezy mode, still haven’t had the guts to challenge Culex yet. Maybe I should wait until I hit the caps on all 5 of my characters.
@Moffo Hey, a fellow Pokemon White owner, I bought it for cheap off Ebay a couple of years ago when I was still a Pokemon fan but only finished it like this year or last year, I also have a cart only copy of either White 2 or Black 2 but I haven't got around to playing that one. Glad to hear you got a good present.

@Sunsy IDK why I'm saying this, but if I had a "Trolls" OC, they'd be one of those "Mount Rageous" citizens, who'd be a good singer (but has really bad stage fright), and his closest friend would be a Troll.
