@Eagly_lmtd_xmasskin If you are looking for something to watch.. Glitch Productions, end of story. I watched something of theirs a little while ago and now I am hooked on MD and TADC! (Oh sorry, Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus) MD has some language (not often) but TADC has none (it’s suggested but not actually spoken.)

@Eagly_lmtd_xmasskin Agreed, it makes me glad I checked out more DreamWorks movies after seeing Trolls, aside from Shrek and Mr. Peabody and Sherman which I saw before seeing Trolls.

Speaking of movies, I have tickets to see Migration next week with my friend. Hoping to enjoy it, the trailer grew on me every time I saw Trolls Band Together.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

Regarding Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, according to TV Tropes: Many people like to point out the special's supposed bad message of "differences should only be tolerated if they prove useful or can be exploited" since Rudolph is only accepted after Santa realizes his nose can be used to see through the storm. However, while that may apply in the original song, in the actual show, a few characters like Clarice were nice to Rudolph from the beginning, and he is accepted back in Christmas town before he saves Christmas with his nose. His friends and family realize what a mistake it was to mistreat him even earlier, upon seeing his bravery and survival skills.

@IceDomino if I remember correctly, Rudolph was only accepted because he stopped the storm in the movie. Still doesn't make everyone else any better.

Honestly if I were Rudolph and they all came to me saying that without me Christmas can't be saved, I'd just be "well tough luck" and left.

@EllaTheQueen6 finally some good news. Living the dream

@Eagly_lmtd_xmasskin It’s kinda funny but I actually remember the third more then the first so I have to rewatch it, I do remember the villain was amazing!

Now I have to admit I have not watch the How to train your dragon series, I did like a long time ago and I don’t remember jack story wise so I’m not even going to count it. I have to see the, but I will take your word for it on the villains!

But now that you list them they really do have a grand roster of villains, and I feel like Disney probably shown us or showed me that villains are really, really important to a story especially a good one, a bad villain can ruin it, and the thing is the villains doesn’t even have to be complex to be good, they just have to be a good villain, no matter how you do it as long as they are well written and rememberable, I say you succeed.

And that’s not to say that I didn’t think they were important but geez did Disney just open my eyes to that, I just started to miss specific types of villains while dreamworks villains have a wide variety so I never felt it with them.

No need to worry, I feel you because I don’t want to do the same thing myself but it’s just kinda hard not to when everything Disney has done recently is just, isn’t good which wasn't the case before, and we just want it to get better.

It’s pretty weird honestly because it’s their movie villains that have this problem, owl house, gravity falls, Amphibia all had some great villains, now I know that’s only three shows but those are villains are under Disney's belt and for some reason they still can’t understand what makes a villain work. It’s a shame a,, those shows got rushed toward the end.

Ah yes you saw wish right? I haven’t watched it but honestly reviews from saber spark and scruff I feel like is all I need, we really just wanted a traditional Disney villain, they couldn’t even get that right for their 100 anniversary movie. And don’t even get me started on the songs.

sigh I always liked dreamworks of course but there definitely was a time I didn’t think they touched a candle to Disney. Later looking back at some of their best trilogies told me there were gems here, sure not every movie from them is amazing, they have always been up and down like, when it sucks it sucks but when it’s great it’s amazing!

@Sunsy Funnily enough, despite the memes, I never had too many issues with dysentery in the Oregon Trail games. Just...many of the other things. I've noticed you playing that Trolls game, so I hope it's to your liking!

@MarioLover92 I like learning about many things, especially when it comes to puzzles, logic, and patterns/sequencing, which programming can provide in spades. But yeah, I'm VERY rusty when it comes to C++ lol. I picked up making animations somewhat well at the time, but I was never good with designing skin cubes and wraps for characters. We are never too old to learn, in fact we're learning all the time. Though I do think learning is easier and our brains are usually spongier when we're kids. I was practically raised on many Disney and early Pixar films, in fact many that you listed off are some of my favorites. I'd also add The Incredibles, The Emperor's New Groove, Oliver & Company, The Rescuers (both the original and Down Under), and the original Fantasia. I've seen many classic Disney films too, though I will confess I've never seen Mary Poppins or Peter Pan (though I know what happens in this film thanks to a Golden Book back in the day). I think that 101 Dalmations rerelease is why it jumped in popularity and is probably what I was raised on too! Same with the live action film with Glenn Close. It isn't quite as good as the animated version, but I still really enjoy it and thank it's one of the few good live action Disney adaptations. Not that I'm biased or anything.

I'm up for trying out many types of games in general, though I'm not as into standard card games. I can do Solitaire and Hearts and used to know how to play Blackjack, but that's about it. I really like the BeanBean Kingdom and hope Nintendo revisits it sometime should the M&L series ever be revived outside of remakes...not too likely with Alphadream's closure unless Nintendo hands over the reins to someone else though. The softlock I encountered in Partners In Time had to do with an earlier tutorial with the Hammer Bros with the babies. Details are here. Supposedly the North American version is buggier compared to other regions since it released first.

Yep, AC:NH can be a heck of a time sink. Not that I still don't play timesinks, but I'm very choosy about which ones these days. It's insane how well MK8D continues to sell, but that's the mark of a good, well-rounded game. Even crazier that it dethroned the original Super Mario Bros. I'm sure there will be a new Mario Kart within the next few years, but I do agree it'll show up for the system that follows the current Nintendo Switch.

@Eagly_lmtd_xmasskin Sounds like human nature; some people just drive other people crazy and don't mesh well together. Just a fact of life. Sadly there's always at least someone out there that doesn't jive with a person. No rush on a Discord link, tbh I'm not a major Discord user anyway (though I do have it).

I've mostly been gaming since age 5 or 6 with a few breaks now and then, so...since the mid-90s lol. I just need to stop buying games and sometimes can for awhile, but they always make more I'm interested in. With some people I think it's stupidity and trying for five minutes of fame, others have too much money and too few brain cells. Heck some of the "Switch destruction test" videos that came out early in the system's life cycle made me cringe; a lot of it was "for science" but I grew up understanding those items were a luxury; if you intentionally and/or angrily broke something, chances are it isn't getting replaced for a long time (if at all) because of the cost. I fail to see why smoking or inhaling much of any substance the human lungs aren't built to naturally process is appealing, but people do it all the time. Despite all the medical and scientific evidence that says this is a bad idea.

Noted; I'll set the game on the home screen and leave it running for 24 hours, then check again.

Ah yes, I do remember some vague rumblings about the Fire Emblem: Engage leak, as well as Alear's appearance. I normally take leaks with a load of salt, though some like Engage were indeed accurate. I didn't recall the FE4 bits though. I highly encourage playing Shadows of Valentia if you get the chance; it's no longer available digitally, but a quick web search shows it's still physically available for what I'd call a reasonable price online. The game can be a bit of an odd duck as far as many Fire Emblem titles - it is based on the original Fire Emblem Gaiden after all - but I actually liked many of the differences. Some of the maps, as they're based on the original NES game, aren't the most interesting though.
