@Princess_Lilly I like to watch the ABC world news, but everything now is "School shooting happened here, Hamas war, blah blah blah" like I remember when the news would feature disabled children coming over their disabilites. I want that happy news again.

Yeah, everything in the news is depressing now. Can't we get a few feel-good stories?

@EllaTheQueen6 Aside from seeing Ghibli Fest 2023, I don't watch a lot of anime or read a lot of manga (I was planning to collect the Splatoon series since I started becoming a fan after the third game came out, but I lost interest...and my financial anxieties kicked in...after I got the second volume).

@IceDomino Yeah, not really a weeb then, just a fan of Japanese culture!

If anyone knows their Japanese history, I need a bit of help: I'm drawing my persona wearing an outfit from the Muromachi period (planning to make it part of a "Kid Icarus" universe, where he wants to become Pit's apprentice despite not being an angel), and after learning how they fold their clothes (a certain way means that they don't fear death), I found out about the heraldry that they put on the shoulders. Do I need to use a real crest, or can I just make one up since he's fictional?

@IceDomino nobody except for the most unhinged wokeists would ever say such a thing. (btw it reminds me of an actual term that they concocted - "cultural appropriation", and yes, they DO believe it exists)

DreamWorks sequels have been impressive recently. Still amazed Trolls Band Together exceeded my expectations. Other's too. I'm noticing people who hated Trolls, even liking the movie.

Glad Kung Fu Panda 4 is happening, I enjoyed the first three when I saw them a few years back. I even have Po on Brawlhalla, and Kung Fu Panda pinball on Pinball FX (came with Trolls Pinball).

Actually... I am not looking forward to KFP4. The Chameleon looks like the villain of 3, but now he becomes people instead of making "jombies" of them.

My next movies in January will include “Migration” and “Soul”.

Yeah I have honestly never seen those blades in anything but god of war, unless I just never noticed but it’s really just these two. Kai is just another one if dreamworks fantastic villains, he was menacing and cool the whole movie. I hope four can live up to the trilogy.
