@Princess_Lilly Polotics are dumb, like I wanna watch my cartoons without some politics ad compaign thank you very much. I just want voting season to end. Worst part is it hasn't started yet, we're still picking which two candidates will run for president

@EllaTheQueen6 I don't know about that, watching news only makes you angrier. I just mentioned that because it kinda distresses me that it was such a bold, illegal move by one party, that I was sure something more was going on, kinda like a martial law. And ironically due to that, I can't watch news

Belgium sounds nice. I mean maybe I shouldn't speak like that since Europe has this nasty feature of every nation hating others IMMENSLY, but I always was optimistic towards everyone, even the nation that hates us most.

@Princess_Lilly I like to watch the ABC world news, but everything now is "School shooting happened here, Hamas war, blah blah blah" like I remember when the news would feature disabled children coming over their disabilites. I want that happy news again.

@EllaTheQueen6 Aside from seeing Ghibli Fest 2023, I don't watch a lot of anime or read a lot of manga (I was planning to collect the Splatoon series since I started becoming a fan after the third game came out, but I lost interest...and my financial anxieties kicked in...after I got the second volume).

If anyone knows their Japanese history, I need a bit of help: I'm drawing my persona wearing an outfit from the Muromachi period (planning to make it part of a "Kid Icarus" universe, where he wants to become Pit's apprentice despite not being an angel), and after learning how they fold their clothes (a certain way means that they don't fear death), I found out about the heraldry that they put on the shoulders. Do I need to use a real crest, or can I just make one up since he's fictional?

@IceDomino nobody except for the most unhinged wokeists would ever say such a thing. (btw it reminds me of an actual term that they concocted - "cultural appropriation", and yes, they DO believe it exists)
