@Sunsy Yep. Start too early or too late, and you'll likely catch some end or beginning of winter blizzards in the mountains, and even out on the Great Plains depending. Colder/more adverse weather in general. Kind of like the real thing in that regard.

@MarioLover92 There were a decent variety of introductory programming courses, but I would've liked some more advanced classes and more that delved into applying programming logic. The biggest thing I lost out on at the time was implementing frameworks and certain ways of handling data. There were some game design courses, nothing crazy, but I did earn the certificate....Though half of my programming courses qualified me for it. I took some animation and modeling classes and learned a thing or two about Maya and Unity 3D. Delved a bit into other things like XDA and DarkBasic too, but Microsoft killed one and the other is defunct. I had The Lion King storybook too! I loved that movie and just about anything to do with it. I remember creating a horse version with drawings on a family vacation one time. XD I really liked an interactive storybook type game based on 101 Dalmatians too.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 can be a creative sandbox like Minecraft, at least on the main hub island. But there's still some structure with wiggle room for creativity, which I like. My problem with Minecraft is that it's TOO aimless for my current tastes, but I'm sure I would've enjoyed it a lot more had it released when I was a kid with a lot more time on my hands. XD I've not played the first DQB. I've heard it's decent, but the QoL improvements I'm now used to in the second game will make it harder to dive into that game if I wish to at some point. Though I believe there's a demo as well. I'm sure I'll love Bowser's Inside Story when I do get to it! I really enjoyed Superstar Saga and liked Partners In Time overall (though the latter does have some issues).

I've given a couple of Nintendo-centric games a fair shake on my phone I think. I did like the free levels of Super Mario Run overall, though I never bought the full game. Fire Emblem Heroes was fun at first, but it became boring and generic fairly quickly. I'm also not a big fan of gacha systems. I've never really tried any of the others. I do play Pokemon Go almost daily anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more depending, but that's a Niantic title. Sounds like I've dodged a bullet by avoiding Tour. I didn't think I'd like the gameplay from footage I have seen. Glad that experiencing those tracks in MK8D is the better experience!

I personally felt disappointed with Nintendo attempt by made another DLC again for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and released half baked physical release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with DLC on it except the last Wave.
For me from customer point of view, it was lazy attempt and very unnecessary.
Nintendo can put all those new tracks for next Mario Kart games in the future.
I believe the intention from Nintendo to make peoples suddenly talking again about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe because peoples seems already content with current Mario Kart 8 Deluxe situation or some peoples became less interested with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so Nintendo dropped the bomb by releasing another DLC to make peoples suddenly get into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe again.
From my point of view, it was not a good intention.
I mean to capitalize Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the Best Racing games to play, I think it was too much and I think the other racing games for kids by 3rd party developers are good enough to try, better not monopolize one brand as the only worthy stuff to play and tell the other brands are less interesting.
And to see from Nintendo itself releasing half baked physical games like Pokemon Scarlet / Violet & Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Half DLC contents, it was very disappointing to see Nintendo did such things like that. I mean, really??

And I admit on this 6 year I owned Nintendo Switch, I became less engaged with my Switch games, not because suddenly my purchased Switch games become boring, but Nintendo did really disappointing attempts during this year 2023 too after year 2022 before. The implication of those issues made me became less excited with new 1st party games release for Switch.
Sure I will eventually get some upcoming 1st party Switch games but I will get them very late as my hype is still on 3rd party games than 1st party games.

Btw, how was your progress of Dragon Quest Builders 2 ?

I have the game but I still haven't finished yet since year 2015.
JRPG games is not something you can move forward without a lot of preparation and strategies.

I still have have some hype to watch again Trolls Band Together at cinema XXI.
If I still see the movie will be aired tomorrow, I will watch again for the SIXTH times before the movie get replaced by other upcoming movies.
Now, I gave the score for Trolls Band Together = 9 from 10, that means I like the movie very much.
I like almost every single songs from Trolls Band Together and I gave their individual scores from my opinion.

Perfect = 10 / 10 .
It's a PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT !
80's style boy band song, I LOVE IT 100%.

Royal Wedding Song = 8 / 10.
The part of We Are Family at the end was my favorite part as I watched Bridget gliding from the sky with balloon wedding dress.

Vacay Island = 7 / 10 .
The Vacay Island part was okay, not really interesting song for me.
The Mr Bombastic part was like WTH.
The Sailing part was beautiful.

I Want You Back medley = 9 / 10.
Candy Girl part was really catchy.
Right Stuff part was a little bit weak.
I Want You Back part was the BEST.
The Boyz 2 Men part was interesting.
Stayin' Alive part was sounds better than the original by Bee Gees.

Sweet Dream = 8.5 / 10.
Very great cover version of Eurythmics song . It sounds like modern 90's Pop songs.

Watch Me Work = 8 / 10.
The song is great but the lyrics is very ironic to see what is actually Velvet and Veneer doing. The lyrics told you that you have to work hard to be famous but in reality, both Velvet and Veneer cannot sing and suddenly they can sing because they stole the talent power from Floyd and deceive the publics to get the fame by cheating.

Fame = 8.5 / 10.
Very great cover version of Fame by Irene Cara.
The first part was great but too short as there was a non singing part due to the scene of Viva joined with Poppy.
The half part was a great mashup of Watch Me Work + Fame.

Better Place (Family Harmony) & Reunion version = 9 / 10.
Very cool boy band song with a cappella at beginning part.
The Family Harmony version was short but gave me delight feeling when the Harmony getting stronger and breaking the Diamond bottle prison.
The Reunion version was as good as Family Reunion despite it has different verse lyrics.
Watching NSYNC members as Trolls boy band then added with Brozone members, it is like watching a whole singing group performances, not an individual boy bands anymore.

Family = 8 / 10.
Very great ending theme song.
The combination of BroZone members with Poppy and Viva voices made the song sounds very family oriented with interesting lyrics to sing.

@Anti-Matter I tend to agree when it comes to "incomplete" physical releases. There's no reason why Nintendo couldn't have waited for the last wave of MK8D DLC to come out, but my guess is they wanted to meet some type of deadline. Though wasn't that release Japan only? I've not kept track of it since I already own the base game and have no interest in the DLC (and it can be played online even if one doesn't own the DLC).

As for Pokemon, that's more on The Pokemon Company, which is actually a mishmash of several companies. I agree the Scarlet/Violet + DLC release is asinine too, though no surprises there; the franchise has sadly become WAY too rushed to meet deadlines since it's multimedia. This approach worked for them when games took a bit less time to develop, but a quality, modern AAA game takes much more time than that. It sounds like there's a really good game under the hood too - I've not played one of the two yet, but I'd like to grab Scarlet before long - but it's marred by performance issues that still haven't been patched out after a year.

On Dragon Quest Builders 2: I quite like the game so far! Though I haven't played it much this week in favor of other games. It's my side game for now, and one that's perfect to play to wind down before going to sleep.
