@Princess_Lilly
PS2 games are cheap?
Depend on the titles.
Games like Beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS, DDR X Japan, Dragon Quest 8 USA, etc are not cheap PS2 games.
@Sunsy
It was funny when Clay called Burger patty as Meat circles when I watched the movie for the first time.
I have never watched the first Trolls movie but as Clay mentioned about Viva's history, was there any situation where the Trolls get separated after the tunnel collapsed so it was like a hint for the third movie about Poppy's sibling ?
Speaking about BroZone members, which is your favorite?
My personal choice is Clay as he has the most appealing BroZone member looking after grown up. He has different natural hair color as grown up (Lime green color) compared when he was younger (Yellow color).
BroZone members looks very same when they were still young but they have different looking each other after grown up.
John Dory is also my favorite looking BroZone member after grown up.
Also, the NSYNC members as the Trolls look cute.
@Anti-Matter It was, both caught me off guard. I never once thought "Burger" when thinking Bergen, lol. Yup, it's the very beginning of the first movie. It also gives context to what happened after there was a collapse in the tunnel of the first movie The opening takes place in a flashback when Gristle was a kid and Poppy was only a baby.
Floyd easily, he cared a lot for Branch, and I really like that a lot. Branch's vest was Floyd's vest, and the hideout was Branch's bunker.... THE ENTIRE TIME! That alone blew my mind as a long time fan. Even watching the first Trolls movie last week felt different in a good way.
Yup, that was a big surprise! My friend and I laughed so hard when Poppy started to fangirl scream upon seeing them, as she was a fan of NSYNC's Troll band too, lol. Some boyfriend Branch is, he's been in both her favorite boy bands, lol.
@Sunsy Hah, well at least it sounds like you had plenty of decent Oregon Trail runs at any rate! XD At least you didn't start too early in the year. I learned early that can be disastrous.
The sad thing about carrot cake is the "health halo" attached to it by some since carrots are in it. But the sugar content is insane, and the carrots are too few.
@MarioLover92 My college offered several programming languages, though in hindsight I guess they'd taught more involving frameworks and using third party integrations in code. That was experience I was lacking in when entering the job field. Lectures are fine, be applying what you've learned is very helpful too. I think I was around the same age when we got our Windows 95 machine. But I don't recall having many games for it; most of what I played was at school outside of a couple of Disney and Edutainment games. Windows XP is when I had more of a game library at home.
I settled on Dragon Quest Builders 2 as my other game along with Ys: The Oath In Felghana for now. I played the demo this past summer, enjoyed it, and bought it digital during recent Black Friday sales. It's a pretty fun game, which was surprising to me since I'm not the biggest Minecraft fan. Probably because it's more structured. As for Bowser's Inside Story, I've heard it's an excellent M&L entry; I've only played the SS remake and Partners In Time so far. As for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, it's a remake of a highly acclaimed DS Atlus title.
I didn't play Mario Kart Tour at all since it's a mobile title. I'm sure I'd get more shortcuts in MK8D if I played more, but it's just an occasional game for me. Until recently, I hadn't played in almost a year. I do jump online for a race or two on occasion these days though. Usually if I don't have time for much else.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Tyranexx Sure did. I kind of actually took the game's advice to not start too early, or start too late, so I ended up going somewhere in the middle, lol.
I see. I had a feeling it wasn't healthy despite having carrots in it.
@Moffo I'm doing good, going to the movies again tomorrow. That's about it.
Was a quiet day with chores in the morning, some gaming in the afternoon.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
I managed to beat Mega Man Zero yesterday, but I only managed on the easy mode, using a really cheap tactic to beat the final boss. Still, a win is a win, and I plan to get better at it. Since my brother has the Legacy Collection, that being how I played it, I'll just practice as I go through the each of the games. Really fun, though, and good music too.
Truly I am mankind's natural foe! Evil Incarnate! A walking cataclysm! A shapeless insanity! GUNDHAM TANAKA!
Kelpies. Be they hound or horse?
Currently Playing on Switch: Chaos:Child, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-
@EllaTheQueen6 I mean I doubt you would find a copy of Rule of Rose with any reasonable price, most of them are priced over average monthly wage, so...
But still I will shut up about such games.
Katamari is a good choice.
wait this headache is still going? Seriously this is kinda concerning
@Scooby-Doo good job! A win is win, there is no cheap tactics
@Princess_Lilly I'm seeing a doctor on Thursday, so it's fine.
I've seen Katamari for Switc, but since it was on Switch I just assumed "Oh, Nintendo game"
Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Murin!

@EllaTheQueen6 hoho, and that was a mistake! See, in the golden age of gaming that I love to preach about, many other developers created great games, not only Nintendo. Namco was a famous brand once, Sega and Capcom as well. We now know them as 3rd league small timers, but trust me, they were great.
I just got another one for you - Crazy Taxi. It's a classic. Legend says that someone skipped the beginning demo once.
Just got back from Regal Cinema in Salisbury, Maryland to see Godzilla Minus One. Definitely was excellent to watch. Godzilla, himself, felt more impactful & personal compared to Shin Godzilla.
Plus, Godzilla's design is just...EPIC. Can't wait it's eventual DVD release. Now I'm looking forward to Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire in April 2024.
I sell my famous Chesapeake Tupperware.
I ACCEPT NO DEBIT CARDS!
DO YOU HEAR ME!?!
I don't like to be negative, but this thing has been bothering me... so I kinda wanna say my piece on it. So, the Game Awards happened, and we got some winners, like Tears of the Kingdom getting the best action/adventure game award. I may not have saw the event, but then we learned that the people getting the awards were forced to cut their speeches short. There was a whole sign that said "please wrap it up." Seriously?! I do get that folks might not want the speeches to be super long, but come on... that is just incredibly rude and disrespectful. I feel sorry for Eiji Aonuma, too. He needed a translator with him, yet he still only gets like one minute to do his speech? Not to mention, he's worked on Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild... all of which I've mentioned being much-loved games in the Zelda series. Let him and the other winners have more time to give their speeches, for goodness sake! I'm happy for everyone who won their awards, but yeah... this "wrap it up" thing upsets me. Especially since I'm someone who doesn't like to be rushed. OK... rant's over. Back to positivity.
@Sunsy Me too! Noelle's a nice, heartwarming Christmas movie and I'd recommend it to anyone. I love the last part of the movie, too... with Noelle being the next Santa and getting the presents to everyone. What a perfect way to end this movie!
Agreed on the Nintendo decorations. Oh gotcha, that must have been a happy accident, haha. While we're on the subject of train sets and Nintendo decorations, I'd love to have a train set that has - you guessed it - Mario, Princess Peach, and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom gang! That'd be perfect for my Christmas tree, too. Wonder if Lionel will make such a thing. That Mickey train also reminds me, if I recall correctly, Walt Disney himself was a huge fan of trains back in the day. He had a miniature train, called the Lilly Belle, in his yard back in 1950. So it makes perfect sense to have Disney-themed train sets!
Absolutely. And that's cool, most of my past beds were just regular, and I eventually got to have the Mario-themed ones like the one I have now. I do recall having a Pokemon-themed bed when I was a kid, though. I was way more into games than shows and movies when I was younger, though I did watch anime on occasion as well. Particularly during my teenage years. That's cool you still have that Pinocchio comforter.
That's good. Yeah, anytime I play games online, I play fair and legitimately, and to the best of my ability. While I'm pretty good at Mario Kart, I'm not one of those Mario Kart Wii hackers where they use lightning during the starting countdown and throw an infinite amount of blue shells, lol. As long as I find the game fun, online or otherwise, that's all that matters. There was one online game I didn't like though, which was Rocket League. I tried getting into that game, but I just found it insanely frustrating. So I don't play it anymore. (No offense to anyone who likes RL, I know a lot of people like it.) Ah yeah, Mario Kart Wii's online was a definite improvement over DS. The fact that you can play as little or as much races as you please is a lot more player-friendly than the 4-race requirement. Yep, you can see my Merry Mountain record in-game! I know that @WoomyNNYes took a look at some of my time trial records a while back. So you can see how I play, too. Yeah, I'd mute the chat as well if there's an option.
That's really cool. I wanna get the SNES ornament for my tree, since it was the first console I've played. I won't mind having that Genesis one as well... come to think of it, I don't have any Sonic ornaments for my tree. The one with Sonic and Tails looks awesome!
Oh that's good you took a lot of breaks. Whatever makes you comfortable. Yeah, events like that can be a bit too much for me as well, since I am pretty sensitive. I'm still like that with super-fast amusement park rides, so I'm also speed-sensitive. Absolutely... Toad is cute to begin with, and so is Toadette.
@Tyranexx Oh that's good, your college offered more programming variety than mine did, it sounds like. My college was gonna have a game design course up and running, but to no avail, unfortunately. That's something I'd still like to learn... provided that I'd have an easier time doing the programming stuff because I had a hard time with it! Gotcha, that's cool. We did have some edutainment program for it as well since I was very young at the time, and we may have had at least one of those Disney interactive storybooks. I know I've played one that was based on The Lion King.
Oh that's cool, so Dragon Quest Builders is more so along the lines of Minecraft, huh? My first thought was that it'd be a Dragon Quest version of Super Mario Maker, at least going by the title of the game, anyway. I do recall seeing that the gameplay isn't like SMM, though. If you enjoyed the Superstar Saga remake and Partners in Time, you're gonna love Bowser's Inside Story.
I actually played a little bit of Mario Kart Tour. And... I know it sounds weird from someone who loves the Mario series, but I just did not like Tour. The controls in that game are absolutely atrocious, and I don't really like the microtransactions and loot boxes, either. So I uninstalled it, and the game didn't run great on my phone anyway. You're better off with 8 Deluxe, honestly. Most of the Tour courses in 8 Deluxe's DLC were new to me as a result. (I recall playing on Tokyo Blur when I tried out Tour.) And in MK8D, they play so much better because we have an actual controller - imagine that! That's cool. Yeah it's a good game to occasionally hop back in. Since there's no epic RPG-esque story, lol... just Mario and his pals racing each other.
@Moffo I'm doing OK. Been planning on doing stuff like Christmas shopping. Hope you're doing well.
@Scooby-Doo Nice work. Mega Man Zero is a tough game for sure, same with its sequels, but especially the first one. Honestly, a lot of Mega Man games are quite challenging.

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
