@Princess_Lilly I see, I was hoping there were like casual/cozy games for the ps2,cause all my games are like pew pew bang bag, which can be fun but cometimes I just wanna walk around an open space and talk to npcs. I'll even take rythm games too, like Guitar Hero.

The Sims Bustin' Out was a cozy game.
Nothing better than watching Mom keep dancing all day long in front of the stereo and she got bad mood or peeing on the floor after dancing for 24 hours. 😆
@EllaTheQueen6 yeah, the issue is that cozy games were literally invented with HM and it took many generations of gaming for others to copy that. Katamari Damacy is also a cute title. Weird but super fun.
@Anti-Matter swimming pool ladder was also a classic
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
Mom and I saw Noelle and we loved it. It's a sweet, feel-good Christmas movie that has a nice story attached to it, and a few of the lines even made me laugh. It's on Disney+ if you'd like to see it!
@Sunsy Aw that's awesome. I should've mentioned that I don't actually have garland, last I knew anyway. That's why we haven't used it for our tree. Agreed on the Rosalina tree topper. They make angel ones, so why not Rosalina? Let's have a Luma next to her for good measure. That does sound like a nice train set, and yeah, that wrong sound clip bit does sound a bit weird, lol... not even part of the Frosty the Snowman theme song, huh? I wonder if Tom Hanks is actually a fan, lol. My Mickey Mouse train is also from Lionel, with voice clips like "all aboard the Mickey Mouse Express!" It sounds like Goofy is saying those lines, too.
Agreed for sure... I'll have to look into Turning Red at some point. That's cool, I actually used to have a Sonic themed bed long, long ago. I was 12 years old back when I had one.
Oh yeah same here, I've always liked the idea of playing games online with those who are far away from us. Though, I wouldn't be into online games until the DS. I wasn't allowed to play M-rated games like the Halo series, because I was just too young. So I didn't play stuff like Halo 2 back in its heyday. But I did play Mario Kart DS online a few times, and when I got Mario Kart Wii, I played its online even more. I sometimes play time trials as well. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I recently posted my 150cc time trial record for Merry Mountain if you're interested in seeing it. I did some other courses in the DLC as well, but not all of them yet. As for roguelikes, I have Enter the Gungeon on Steam, it's a pretty fun game. As for ranked modes, yeah I started playing the ranked battles in Splatoon 3 fairly recently. I played the other modes for a good while now, so I figured it'd be a good time to break out of my comfort zone with the ranked battles. Mario Kart's online can be considered ranked as well, depending on how well you've placed in each race.
I like your new ornaments! I especially like the Genesis one.
Yeah, I guess weddings tend to be like that... I've been to my uncle's wedding and there was a lot going on over there as well. Tons of people, and loud music. I remember that I was getting tired near the end, too... we've pretty much spent an entire day at that wedding. You probably did start that trend, lol!
On the drawing, thank you! Really happy with how it turned out. Toad looks adorable with his train hat and scarf, huh? I went ahead and drew the train controls inside, too.
Glad you both loved Noelle.
Alrighty. Nintendo, get on making those Nintendo themed decorations, we already have ornaments and a star as a start. Yup, it has the wrong sound chip, but we never bothered to have it replaced because it just made the train cool, lol. Sounds like a nice train with a Disney twist.
Turning Red is good, I think it's cool both it and Luca are coming to theaters. Cool, my bed wasn't all Sonic themed, just the comforter. After that I got Jimmy Neutron bedding, then later on I got My Little Pony when I was into that (I'll still watch the show from time to time), and a Frozen one, now it's Trolls. Now I think about it, I have an old Pinocchio comforter from when I was little, still have it too. Character bedding has always just been a preference. It's my bed, so I might as well have it the way I like it.
Online gaming has always been fun because of the idea of others playing together, even if I'm not the best at playing some of the games, I just like hopping online and having fun. Of course I do play the game and role like I'm suppose to, I don't go ruining it for others. I use to play Mario Kart DS and Wii too, always preferred Mario Kart Wii over DS. I did not like the whole "play four races" thing, vs. the one race at a time. If I get tired then I can leave between tracks. Nice, I can view that record in game? I've seen Enter The Gungeon, my nephew played it on his Xbox when I was over. Looks good. I mostly just play causally, the only exception to "ranked" is Gameloft games, mostly because it's the only online option. In Gameloft games, ranked usually determines rewards you receive. Games like Asphalt 9 and Modern Combat Blackout reset ranks every week or so (honestly I prefer Modern Combat on Switch, it doesn't have P2W elements like the F2P Steam version). Maybe, you always have that number, more or less, I was thinking ranked modes as in the more competitive mode in games. Usually the more "toxic" (for lack of a better word) players hang out in ranked. Not that it matters, I usually mute the chat anyway.
Thanks, I like that one too, it plays Sonic music and sound effects when switched on. Really a cool ornament.
Yeah, I also remember taking a lot of breaks during my brother's wedding too. It was too much, thankfully it doesn't happen often, if I could, I would honestly avoid it. Just too much happening.
There's quite a bit of lore about Bergens and the Trolls too. The first Trolls movie goes into the Bergens a lot more. It was touched upon in Viva's backstory, the escape and being separated.
Honestly, I actually really like Viva a lot. Makes me glad I got her on my cup when I saw the movie and a Viva plushie when I went shopping in October.
@Princess_Lilly Yeah ps2 games are pretty cheap, but sometimes they're expensive cause they're collectibles. But most of the time, 2-20 USD is arund the price.
What is that, some innaproriate game or something?

@EllaTheQueen6 It's a horror game that sparked some controversy because someone reviewed it without even playing (if I remember correctly). He claimed many nasty things about the game, which later on turned out to be lies.
@Princess_Lilly I see. It looks fun, maybe I'll look into it. If it has a good story, I'm in. Especially since the claims were false. But I'm still definitelly putting Katamari on my Christmas list
Yes, padoru. It is a padoru of myself.
@Princess_Lilly
PS2 games are cheap?
Depend on the titles.
Games like Beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS, DDR X Japan, Dragon Quest 8 USA, etc are not cheap PS2 games.
@Sunsy
It was funny when Clay called Burger patty as Meat circles when I watched the movie for the first time.
I have never watched the first Trolls movie but as Clay mentioned about Viva's history, was there any situation where the Trolls get separated after the tunnel collapsed so it was like a hint for the third movie about Poppy's sibling ?
Speaking about BroZone members, which is your favorite?
My personal choice is Clay as he has the most appealing BroZone member looking after grown up. He has different natural hair color as grown up (Lime green color) compared when he was younger (Yellow color).
BroZone members looks very same when they were still young but they have different looking each other after grown up.
John Dory is also my favorite looking BroZone member after grown up.
Also, the NSYNC members as the Trolls look cute.
@Anti-Matter It was, both caught me off guard. I never once thought "Burger" when thinking Bergen, lol. Yup, it's the very beginning of the first movie. It also gives context to what happened after there was a collapse in the tunnel of the first movie The opening takes place in a flashback when Gristle was a kid and Poppy was only a baby.
Floyd easily, he cared a lot for Branch, and I really like that a lot. Branch's vest was Floyd's vest, and the hideout was Branch's bunker.... THE ENTIRE TIME! That alone blew my mind as a long time fan. Even watching the first Trolls movie last week felt different in a good way.
Yup, that was a big surprise! My friend and I laughed so hard when Poppy started to fangirl scream upon seeing them, as she was a fan of NSYNC's Troll band too, lol. Some boyfriend Branch is, he's been in both her favorite boy bands, lol.
@Sunsy Hah, well at least it sounds like you had plenty of decent Oregon Trail runs at any rate! XD At least you didn't start too early in the year. I learned early that can be disastrous.
The sad thing about carrot cake is the "health halo" attached to it by some since carrots are in it. But the sugar content is insane, and the carrots are too few.
@MarioLover92 My college offered several programming languages, though in hindsight I guess they'd taught more involving frameworks and using third party integrations in code. That was experience I was lacking in when entering the job field. Lectures are fine, be applying what you've learned is very helpful too. I think I was around the same age when we got our Windows 95 machine. But I don't recall having many games for it; most of what I played was at school outside of a couple of Disney and Edutainment games. Windows XP is when I had more of a game library at home.
I settled on Dragon Quest Builders 2 as my other game along with Ys: The Oath In Felghana for now. I played the demo this past summer, enjoyed it, and bought it digital during recent Black Friday sales. It's a pretty fun game, which was surprising to me since I'm not the biggest Minecraft fan. Probably because it's more structured. As for Bowser's Inside Story, I've heard it's an excellent M&L entry; I've only played the SS remake and Partners In Time so far. As for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, it's a remake of a highly acclaimed DS Atlus title.
I didn't play Mario Kart Tour at all since it's a mobile title. I'm sure I'd get more shortcuts in MK8D if I played more, but it's just an occasional game for me. Until recently, I hadn't played in almost a year. I do jump online for a race or two on occasion these days though. Usually if I don't have time for much else.
@Tyranexx Sure did. I kind of actually took the game's advice to not start too early, or start too late, so I ended up going somewhere in the middle, lol.
I see. I had a feeling it wasn't healthy despite having carrots in it.
@Moffo I'm doing good, going to the movies again tomorrow. That's about it.
Was a quiet day with chores in the morning, some gaming in the afternoon.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
