Btw, what creature of Velvet and Veneer from Trolls Band Together?
Because I noticed a mistranslation from English to Indonesian subtitle in my country when Floyd mentioned both of them as Succubus creatures but when I checked his dialogue from YouTube, he didn't literally say Velvet and Veneer were Succubus creatures because Succubus creatures are like Morrigan and Lilith. I tried to heard closely and I heard Floyd mentioned they were Succupine creature or maybe they are Rageous creature because they are from Mount Rageous and Rageous creatures with noodle hairs and skinny body didn't even look like Succubus creatures.
Btw, I was surprised RuPaul, the famous drag queen voicing Miss Maxine as the priest for the wedding of two Bergens.
Looks like @Eel beat me to it, but yeah they're based on Betty Spaghetti (actual toy is spelt Betty Speghetty according to the packaging) dolls. They're a doll like with really bendy arms and legs. The creatures in the movie universe seem to be called "Mount Rageons," even though they look like Betty Speghetty dolls.
I think Floyd used that word more or less as an insult to Velvet and Veneer since they were practically sucking the talent and life out of him.
Trolls movies do that, they always have a long time famous person voicing a one-off character. John Cleese was in the first movie as Gristle's dad, Ozzy Osbourne was King Thrash of the rock trolls in the second movie, and Caroll Burnett was Wind Breeze in the second holiday special. I find it amusing RuPaul is a bergen, because when the cast was revealed, I was like to my friend "I'm calling it, RuPaul is voicing a bergen." Needless to say, my prediction was right.
@Sunsy All righty, cool. I remember my grandmother would have a garland on her tree, we just don't use them so it's just the lights, ornaments, star, and train for me. We used to have an angel for our tree, now we have the Mario star right on top! A Rosalina tree topper would be fabulous... though I don't think they make those right now. What kind of train do you have for your tree, if you don't mind me asking?
Oh nice! I loved Luca when I saw it on Disney+, I won't mind seeing it in theaters. I've not seen Turning Red, though. That's cool, no judgment there. I have a Mario-themed bed myself.
Yeah, I normally play online games casually. Most of the time when I play Splatoon 3, I play Turf War matches or Salmon Run. I sometimes play in the ranked battles though. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I almost always do races online. Haven't done too much of battle mode since I'm not great at it. Yeah... I do recommend S3, but not its DLC until Side Order comes out. Side Order seems to play like a rougelike, do you like those kind of games?

Gotcha, yeah I do save those plain shirts for anything formal as well. Good to hear your brother thought of you that way... I'm the same way, I do want myself and others to feel comfortable no matter what kind of occasion that's being dealt with. I'm not a fan of fashion trends either... I also like wearing whatever I like, my Mario tees for example.
Yeah, what I use is like a tinsel-like garland that's green, it's not too thick, but it adds to the tree. That Mario Star topper sounds awesome. They need to make a Rosalina tree topper, that would be cute. Train set is a weird one because it was a defective train. It's a Lionel train that has Frosty the Snowman all over it, however it got messed up at factory and has a Polar Express sound chip in it, lol. So my train has Tom Hanks saying "all aboard!" while it has Frosty decor on it.
Yeah, it's a great surprise they're coming to theaters. Hoping my friend could go too since we like both movies. Turning Red was a fun one, taking place in 2002. Cool, I always had character bedding, and that's just always been a thing I did ever since I was a teen. My first character bedding was a Sonic comforter, then I got Jimmy Neutron bed sheets.
I always play casually too, even with stuff like Apex. There's a good reason why I don't play ranked. For me, I like playing games with others across the world. Online gaming has always been something I liked because of this, in addition to playing friends who live far away. It even kept me and my friend who moved doing something together. Nice, in any Splatoon game, I always played Turf Wars and that was it, as well as the single player modes in both when I didn't want to play online. I usually go online in Mario Kart too, sometimes I'll play races and time trial offline. Nice, I don't have many Roguelikes, though I have played A Magical High School Girl on Switch (fun one, you make abilities by typing out words, and they change depending on the word), and the classic free PC game, NetHack (an old ASCII dungeon crawler with randomly generated dungeons).
Hopefully I'll share them soon, I took pictures of the new ones recently. The two new Trolls ones, and the two I got on clearance last year, which includes movie Sonic and a Sega Genesis that plays Sonic sounds.
Yeah, will admit, the wedding was a lot for sensory, too many lights, music loud, too much going on. So I was glad he let me wear my normal clothes, and take breaks when needed. Yup, fashion trends never appealed to me, though seeing more character shirts being adult sized and people wearing feels like a trend I started, lol, mostly because I was wearing them before it was cool. Indeed, that's the way it should be, wear what you like.
@Sunsy The banker was, understandably, one of the "best" occupations that meant someone had money sitting around in that time period. Still applies today in some ways, depending on the position held. I too think I used the banker many times to make runs easier lol.
To be fair, there's been a time or two when I had carrot cake that was tolerable, but I think that was because cream cheese was incorporated into the icing. According to my mom, there are also "lazy" ways to make it that basically involve introducing carrot pieces to spice cake. Which may be part of the problem.
Yeah, it's funny because I never once thought of it back then. I just remember choosing Banker, starting between April and May, and buying out the whole store because I matched the number to the amount. The days of being a kid not knowing what things did in games, lol.
Alrighty. It just always seemed like an odd combo to me. I never had carrot cake I think.
@Anti-Matter Those dolls are the Good Luck Trolls, surprisingly, DreamWorks owns the rights to after they made the first Trolls movie. DreamWorks Trolls is based off those dolls, complete with hair, like they're a current version of those Trolls.
Personally, I think DreamWorks made them look much cuter than the original Trolls dolls. Though the original Trolls have become a bit of a running gag. For example this clip from the first holiday special, around the 1:25 mark, note the original Trolls dolls make a cameo.

Also, I found there was a Trolls creature on Frozen Disney and both Trolls in Frozen and Trolls movie can roll like a ball and change their form into stone like shape. Do they have that special ability like that ?

Yeah, other stories do use "trolls" as a creature too, even if they don't look like the kind with the hair in the air. I don't think they turn to stone, but as shown in the new movie, Viva and the putt putt trolls can turn into balls, more to look like golf balls because of the abandoned mini-golf course they stay at.

The two new Trolls ones, both of them are Poppy this year in her new look from the new movie. Specifically her wedding outfit and normal outfit.
Here's some "new" (not really, got them on clearance last year) gaming related ones. Movie Sonic and a Sega Genesis with Sonic sounds and music. I like the latter as getting Sonic Mega Collection on GameCube is a Christmas memory, and the first game I played on it was Sonic 1.
@MarioLover92 yeah I usually reply to 1 sentence posts asap but for longer replies I try to find some opportune time. That's an amazing picture, I love it! Perfectly captures that holiday spirit. It's the only downside of traditional media, not being able to edit it to your heart's content.
