After deliberating whether I should play Persona 3 or Octopath 2, I started playing We Love Katamari

My emotional capactiy is not too strong right now

But I did resume watching Magia Record, it's a masterpiece just like Madoka. It's for mature audience though

Its not you thats the problem. It's moreso just general burnout on the site, plus feeling like its changed since first joining. ( at least for me) And also, feel free to join the discord if you want! Pretty sure Kermit posted the link.

I’m personally staying I’m just taking a break like Eagly. I’m just more active on discord because it’s easy and quick to interact over there. I have lots of reply’s to get to on here and I want to take time for each of them. That’s why I have slowed down so if anyone thinks I’m leaving because of that I’m not.

The people that left just left to discord because the people they interacted with on here was there, so they saw little reason to say here.

But ultimately you have to make the choice to stay on here or not, Just like they did. If you enjoy it on here please stay. Plus like Eagly said we have actually Been trying to get you on there, or figure out a way, even though we know you can’t.

@Moffo FWIW, I'm not leaving. I actually like coming here. Yeah sometimes IRL kicks in and I can't visit on some days, but I do try to make sure I come here every week.

I like talking to others on here, whether it's gaming, in the movie thread, or even here in this thread.

@Moffo While I do still enjoy it here, that enjoyment is much reduced with more people leaving and worries about "Am I the reason people are leaving?".

Things haven't been right for me since the Xbox leaks revealed Phil Spencer's malicious plan to acquire Nintendo as Nintendo the only one of the hardware platforms that I truly enjoy nowadays. Sony's way too focused on live service so while a PS5 is tempting for PS exclusive single player games, the future is concerning meanwhile Xbox is just a constant disappointment (if the 1 game I play Xbox for nowadays dies and not because a sequel happens, I feel I'm pretty much done with Xbox completely).

The songs choices from Trolls Band Together was the reason I watched the movie at Cinema XXI for four times.
Before that, I have a plan to watch WISH by Disney for two times but considering the songs from WISH was not memorable with overcomplicated lyrics like the case from Frozen 2, I changed my mind and ended up by watching Trolls Band Together multiple times for 80's and 90's vibe songs.

I want to give more credit for WISH but it seems the story and the music itself were not as good as Trolls Band Together.
This year, Disney lost its magic.
Little Mermaid by Halle Bailey was okay but not fantastic as the cartoon version. Elemental was disappointing for too much focusing the water and fire elemental characters only.
WISH was okay but the songs were not memorable, the storyline was predictable.
I wonder about Inside Out 2 in June 2024.

@Anti-Matter I'm glad you enjoyed Trolls Band Together so much. Nice, I've seen it four times too. Went twice on my own, and twice with my friend, loved it all four times. I'm glad you like the music. While I haven't seen Wish, I've seen some mention that the villain song in Trolls Band Together is better than Wish's villain song. I can't speak for Wish since I haven't seen it, but I love the lead up and the moment Velvet sings "Fame" it hits hard. Gives me that final boss vibe really.

(Song is a spoiler, to anyone else planning to see Trolls Band Together, maybe don't listen to it).

Really cool too since "Fame" was a song from the 80's as well.

I liked Elemental, but I didn't get to see it in theaters as I saw Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken at the time, I did see it on Disney+ and I might see Wish whenever it comes to Disney+. For me, I was anticipating Trolls Band Together more, especially since the last Trolls movie had to skip theaters.

I'm looking forward to Inside Out 2, will definitely see it in a theater given I saw the first in theaters. Hopefully it will be good.
