This is the reason I do not like some users here who keep insulting the things from the school as useless things. 🙄
I want to say those users are still young and naive so they don't have that much maturity in thinking.
So, I want to say to @EllaTheQueen6 who think Math lesson is useless, Phytagoras theory is very useful.
You use Phytagoras theory for finding between base, height and hypotenuse of triangle for variety situation from finding the height of actual stuff, the distance of the road with Right triangle shape, the distance of the exoplanet, etc.
Phytagoras lesson is pretty easy if you keep practicing counting meticulously and remember the correlation between base, height and hypotenuse.
@EllaTheQueen6 whenever people say Ironmouse, everyone talks about the Vtuber, yet my mind always goes to someone who didnt deserve her fate
@JONOFTHEJONS I have a confession, I have social skills of a brick and lack empathy (I know I do but dont know how to fix it) so yeah, its actually pretty common to be a bit different. Model adults (normies) are just pretending to have their s together believe me
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@Eel
I used Indonesian language to give the name of every triangle part.
I called the base as A for Alas with the shortest length, height as T for Tinggi with longer length than the base, hypotenuse as M for Miring (Sisi Miring) with the longest length, so I can call the base, height and hypotenuse as ATM 🏧 machine (Alas,Tinggi,Miring) to make it easier for student to memorize the name of the triangle sides.
So write the formula as a2 + t2 = m2 or m = √a2 + t2.
Sorry, cannot write a2 + t2 with root square.
Also no, that pythagoream theorium doesn't exist outside schools
Scientist use Phytagoras theorems to find the distance of exoplanets.
We can use Phytagoras to find the the length of TV size, the length of the slider, the distance between vertices in geometrical 3D shape like cube or cuboid, etc.
@blindsquirrel honestly though, I kinda feel like most of the stuff we learn at school is irrelevant. Like at least 90%. I don't remember practically anything from History and I needed it for finals to get to Uni. Nothing from literally any subject at all. Things we learnt at literature is completely off and doesn't teach you how to write, express yourself, or even read with comprehension (ironically, math - especially mathematical logic - does that way better). Now I took way more out of Uni
@Anti-Matter that was a joke. It made more impact than IronMouse though I see
@Princess_Lilly
Yeah, but those things are useful for some careers. The issue, at least here in America, is that colleges require you to take so many classes that don’t have anything to do with your selected major. Like, why does a graphic design degree need 3 science classes, 2 English classes, a math class and history. Even with concurrent enrollment it is still a lot.
