@EaglyBird Will do! I always enjoy getting Trolls stuff, even wore my favorite Poppy shirt to the theater. Actually, I did buy two new Trolls plushies last month when I had a fun afternoon out.
CW, that's enough said. Even as a teen, The CW (and The WB, I'm old enough to remember that lol) shows just never appealed to me. I always been a cartoon and animation guy. I was still watching Nickelodeon's Nicktoons when I was a teen, and watching Disney movies. Though discovered more of DreamWorks stuff after seeing Trolls, before then it was Peabody and Sherman, Madagascar on TV, and Shrek 1.
What a weekend. Went to the early access showing of Trolls Band Together and I loved it. Honestly, the movie exceeded my expectations. I smiled, I laughed, I cried, and loved it all! Even everyone in the theater even applauded the movie. I can't remember the last time I heard people clap for a movie. Even wore one of my favorite Poppy shirts. Being on November 4th, the anniversary of the Trolls series, I can't think of a better way of celebrating. One of the most unforgettable movie trips ever.
Congrats on 100% Mario Wonder. It was, the two movies and the holiday specials are canon to each other too.
That's the thing, I have no idea. Peppermint is reported out of season on the app, when it goes back in season, the message disappears. It's pretty weird since their social media said it's available year round. I should try getting one in January, just to see. If not, I'm happy with a regular white hot chocolate.
Indeed, I discovered it when I popped the game into the Super Game Boy since my dad played it on his Game Boy, and I was surprised that it did that. It was one of the coolest things I ever discovered on the Super Game Boy.
Nice. I think I only rented the DKC games as a kid, never owned any of them. Though I did have Donkey Kong Land on Game Boy.
Yeah, looks like after I see Trolls Band Together again, I think I may watch Frozen again to celebrate its anniversary. Surprisingly for Disney 100, they did re-release it to theaters for two weeks this past summer, so there is that. I did see Frozen II in theaters. Yup, I even saw a Wish trailer play before Trolls Band Together the other day. I might wait for it on Disney+, I want to see Trolls Band Together a couple more times. I loved that movie so much.
I wish I could go to Nintendo NYC. It kinda sucks because realistically I could reach it too. That figure sounds so cool. Yup, subways. I remember as a kid riding them when my dad had to go into the city a few times. Agreed, that one I went on to go to MSG was nice.
Glad to hear you had a great time with Trolls Band Together. It's cool that everyone applauded the movie... I'd imagine you did as well! Thanks, so glad I've 100%'d Mario Wonder. The last Mario Kart wave recently came out and I enjoyed my time with the last eight courses.
All righty that sounds like a plan, on that peppermint/white hot chocolate anyway. It's funny you mentioned Donkey Kong Land, I've never had any of the DKL games on the Game Boy, just the SNES DKC games. So we were in pretty much the opposite situation when it comes to the Donkey Kong games. It wouldn't be until much later when I got the DKL games from the 3DS eShop before that ended up closing. So glad I did... I have a pretty good amount of original Game Boy games downloaded on my 3DS.
Oh you know what, I do wanna see Frozen for its anniversary as well. Oh man, I remember learning about how Disney would be having their classic movies in certain theaters... but my local theaters were left out, unfortunately. Otherwise I would have happily took part. I do wanna see Wish in theaters when that comes out!
Ah yeah I'd definitely recommend heading over to Nintendo NYC. Hopefully you'll get there one day. I should take a picture of that Mario figure sometime... I also remember getting a bob-omb plush there.
@MarioLover92 Sadly the speech courses were required, both to graduate high school and as a required general ed. class for my college degree. Funnily enough, I do enjoy acting - though it's been many years since I've been on stage - and don't find it as hard. Probably because I'm not really "me" in a sense and don't really have to focus on the audience most of the time. The haunted house is the closest I get now, though that's more improv with a small group.
I would definitely abuse public transportation should I ever visit NYC. Probably the bus system mostly (and trains/the subway if those are an option), but I wouldn't be against a taxi or Uber either. I like capturing moments when I'm traveling - at least of objects, other subjects/animals, and scenes - but I'm definitely not a selfie person.
My copy of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection did finally arrive after a slight shipping delay. I admittedly haven't dug into it yet outside of redeeming the gold coins; it'll likely be awhile before I do. I've played most of the games and bought it out of nostalgia...and the extras sweeten the deal IMO. Physical copies do seem less common right now, but I'm not sure if they're going out of print or if Capcom just hasn't refreshed online retailer spaces yet.
Ah gotcha, I see. At least you made it through those speech courses. I do like acting as well, for pretty much similar reasons as what you've given. I can talk like certain characters pretty well too... I just can't do female voices very well since I'm a guy, lol.
Yeah same here, public transportation would make things so much easier for me as well in general. I'm not too huge into taking selfies either. Pretty much whatever I see catch my interest, I'll take a picture of.
Good to hear it finally arrived. Ah yeah it does come with a bunch of extra stuff, right? I know the other Mega Man collections have a lot of bonus content so I'd imagine it's the same with Battle Network. I know there's online multiplayer as well, though I don't think I'd be ready for that anytime soon, lol. At least with random matchmaking. I'd probably get destroyed there!

My only problem with Wonder is the bosses, aside from the final one. They aren't bad and all have different stage hazards and set pieces, but they are all the same boss at the end of the day. Plus, 2 worlds don't even have a boss. Wierdly enough, my favorite one doesn't have a boss. Everything else is great though, and its my favorite 2D Mario so far.

I actually saw "Morbius" last year BEFORE the memes came out. (also learned that eating popcorn and Flamin' Hot Cheetos at the same time made me feel bloated...so uh, don't ever eat that combo, I guess)
