In a nutshell, how will the writers' strike affect me? Besides movies being delayed like the third "Spider-Verse" movie which was SUPPOSED to be released next summer or spring but now it's currently indefinitely.
I predict that I will hype myself up for the direct, thinking it will be the greatest one yet. Then I will inevitably be dissapointed because every Zelda game, TTYD, and a new Donkey Kong aren't revealed for switch.

1. Kinda weird since the consumers remember Apple as being kept by Microsoft only to avoid the monopolization practices, is it really a good brand reputation?
2. I don't know I never had any problem with files, you can send them/sync them so easily on andro/windows I never saw the need to make it even simpler.
3. gonna be honest I rarely ever see Apple product ads. Could be the Europe v US thing

@Eel I don't want to be negative here, but isn't their price to power ratio horrible? Their best specs aren't really high and you can build a better PC/buy a better phone for a fraction of the price.

@Princess_Lilly I don’t know about power levels, but from my own experience, Apple is like Nintendo. On paper you might find more raw power elsewhere, but Apple knows their hardware well enough to the point where it doesn’t really matter.
In terms of price, if you’re looking at the top of the shelf, yes they’re expensive. But they also have very obtainable base level products that are not all that different usage-wise from their more expensive counterparts. For example, the M1 MacBook Air and the basic iPad 9.
I myself have been using an M1 MacBook Air for the last two years, first ever Mac I’ve used, and it’s honestly been the best laptop I’ve ever had. And it was cheaper that my previous laptop too. Two years of daily use later, and the battery is still stronger than what that other laptop had on day 1.

@Eel huh. I happened to buy a laptop not that long ago and I compared the stats. The prices are very similar, M1 MacBook Air being a bit cheaper.

16 v 8 gb ram
SSD 512 v 256 GB
can't find info on graphic card and gc ram on M1
I don't want to say it's bad, but these are pretty low specs for this price. I'm not saying your laptop is bad, I just wish they offered it for a better price.
