Amazon just randomly refunded me a product I bought months ago. Even sent me a notice saying they “received the returned item”. But I very much still have it and never even considered returning it.

@EllaTheQueen6 I don’t really think there’s other options. They’ve processed and completed the refund themselves.

@Eel Oh welp. I once got the first volume of a manga at a book store, and my mom said "Oh, I'll order you the next two books" and so I'm like "Ok, sure"
The manga was based off a light novel. She accidentally bought the next two light novels instead of manga. This wasn't much of a problem, I said "Oh, I'll just order the first volume of the light novel"
Amazon lost my package and getting a refund was a pain

And then a few months ago, my brother ordered a 300 USD CPU. They gave him an iPhone lens by mistake. He got a refund. They raised the price of the CPU, so he never got to get the CPU.

@EllaTheQueen6 oh I absolutely hate it when I manage to buy something for cheap and then they just never send it.

Of course amazons solution is to “just order it again, we never charged you!” but of course the product has since doubled in price.

Yeah, like, and I somewhat feel my brother's CPU thing was my fault cause before he bought the CPU I made a deal with him where he'd buy me 77 USD worth of plushies (Yes I'm insane) and I would pay him back later, as they were limited time only. Then he wanted the CPU, then he bought it, then he got a refund, then it raised in price, then he didn't have enough money to buy it again

@HenryKibble because the parts they use (depending on how much power you want) are not cheap.

@HenryKibble it's an investment, but you get that money back. I spent a decent amount on one five years ago, and it still works great. I've got my money's worth.

And I didn't build my own, you can save money that way but I was too scared haha

Thankfully there's very few PC-only games that I want to play, most of what I play are also available on consoles.

@HenryKibble Just build your own PC. It's still expensive, but not as expensive as getting a very expensive but very cheaply made pre-built.
