Crafted World is a solid game, but it’s just really bland. It’s the definition of average. And coming off the masterpiece that is Woolly World, it felt like they were trying to make it all about the cute art style, without all the creativity that Woolly had.

Sending my best wishes to Charles Martinet on his next endeavors. He's voiced my boy Mario for so many years since I was a kid, and now he'll no longer be his voice actor... that news really got me. I was even in tears when I learned that. With all that said... I'm grateful for his efforts as Mario's voice actor, and he's made quite the impact on my childhood as a result. I'll never forget his Mario voice, ever. Martinet will still be around, just as a Mario ambassador. Thanks for everything, Martinet!
@Tyranexx Yeah I think there's like buses for local transportation in my area, but that's about it. That trolley we've been on was cool for sure, I think it was an old one from many years back, that was still in operation. They've had reprints of old advertisements inside, if I recall correctly.
Back on the subject of Charles Martinet's retirement, while I did admittedly get pretty emotional, I'm grateful for everything he's done as a whole. His voice was just one reason why I love Mario as a character today, with how cheerful and expressive he has gotten.
@blindsquarel Yes you can use the gold coins towards NSO memberships. I do just that, actually!
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."
Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Anti-Matter Idk but when I compared Ubi to chinese market, it was removed as inappropriate for absolutely no reason (reason was, and I kid you not: "do not post inappropriate comments")
@Sunsy All righty. Magical Drop was translated into English on NSO, huh? I know that Panel de Pon came out on NSO, but it's still in Japanese. I do know why they had the original Japanese version - calling the game Tetris Attack for the US and Europe... wasn't exactly the best decision.
That's awesome. I even glanced at a few Instagram comments on that FIFA animation and they were quite positive. The whole world needs more positivity, you know?
I found that episode. It's on Yu Suzuki, the guy who made Shenmue and a good chunk of Sega's arcade games. Here it is. I wouldn't mind playing that Ferrari game if I come across it, especially if it's the one with three screens.
Nice, that's cool. I don't think I've played Pole Position at an arcade, surprisingly enough, only played it on stuff like Namco Museum.
That was cool of your mom to take you to something else you'd like. Yeah... as popular as roller coasters are (it's cool that people like them, I do know that Tyranexx enjoys coasters), they're just not for me, either. Gotcha, that's understandable, and that's coming from someone who likes swimming. I don't really like going underwater, though. Nice, that was a good find! Mom and I were doing decluttering, and I finally found my Club Nintendo pin with Mario and Princess Peach.
I can't blame you, I hope you'll get a chance to ride a train soon! The trains that I rode at the amusement park were fun, so I think you'll enjoy riding them. RailCowGirl... I should look her up, thanks for telling me about her! Wow, that's cool. Was it a speedway that you've been to? Wonder if the track designers were familiar with Super Mario Kart, lol.
Yeah exactly, I've seen too many people say "Nintendo is kiddy," or whatever. Even when I was a teenager, I still liked Nintendo and Mario. New Super Mario Bros. for the DS was one of my go-to games for during my school trips, played and enjoyed the heck out of that game back when I first got it. I'm still huge into Mario... whether the other people like it or not! I'd much rather watch an animated movie too, or anything lighthearted, especially over any drama series. If it's a show that tends to consist of people quarreling, then nope, I ain't watching it. That's cool you liked that Paw Patrol movie. Oh, speaking of movies, Mom and I saw Mary Poppins fairly recently, and we both loved it. Such a wonderful movie from start to finish.
Yeah, it was apparently done but never published kind of thing. Kinda like Star Fox 2 was. They also did it with Puyo Puyo, the US/Europe versions were Kirby's Avalanche, and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. My guess is maybe the anime style wouldn't have sold as well as well known characters, but that's just my guess. Anime is more popular now.
Yeah, Trolls fans are usually happy, especially when they get any new bit of new content, even if it's just a short clip promoting FIFA.
Thanks, noted to give this a watch sometime.
I was very surprised to find a working machine at a retro arcade on the boardwalk, having played the Namco Museum version made playing it a real treat.
Yeah, it usually was the case with me and my brother, if my brother did something, I did something else. I remember my brother went to Warped Tour, a concert, and mom took me to the local mall, where I rememeber getting a Finding Nemo shirt at the Disney store, and getting Doom on GBA, and having lunch. I always preferred quieter and smaller stuff, the noisiest I've been too, was a WWE live event. I was in the higher seats, so I didn't mind it. Cool find on the Peach pin.
I wouldn't mind riding a train. You're welcome, it was my go to YouTube channel at one point, just nice to see the train ride and the scenic views of Norway.
I remember seeing the "Nintendo is kiddie" argument on old forums. I've grown to dislike the term "kiddie," mostly those who use it, often use it to belittle something. Awesome, similarly, most people at my school played Mario Kart and Sonic, I remember even doing download play for those games with others at my school. Definitely, and I've always been a cartoon kind of guy. I always just prefered animation and cartoons to what most around my age are "suppose to like." Yeah, I was very surprised with the Paw Patrol movie, especially since it's based off what is a well known pre-school show. Everything was stepped up for the movie, and it was made into an animated movie all ages can enjoy. Awesome you finally saw Mary Poppins.
@Sunsy great! How's Quaking coming along? I gotta get it for the weekend, review pending Also, Kemono Friends is one of my favorite, if not the absolute favorite worldbuilding attempt. The world of KF is so cozy and friendly, you just get comfy thinking about it. It's right up there with Laid Back Camp, and that is the greatest honor a TV series can get bestowed upon.
Great, it's been keeping me busy. I completed Quake II and Quake II 64, and currently working through Call of the Machine, and playing some deathmatch online (playing on PC, had some Xbox and Switch players in the lobby the other day too. Laid Back Camp, I never got around to finishing it, loved watching it. My favorite way to watch it, in my room, with some Christmas lights. It was just cozy.
@Sunsy Yep, I'm mostly just versed with soups and liquid concoctions when it comes to crockpots, and that's not a lot. I don't need to reduce my salt content for health reasons really, it just makes me retain a lot of water. Plus, while humans need salt, the average American eats WAY too much. It's used quite often as a preservative and flavor agent. The noise from fireworks bother me, but I'm sure the discomfort is amplified a hundredfold when it comes to some people suffering from PTSD or sensory disorders, as well as some pets.
I usually don't like too much salt, if I got fries for example, I would get without salt and add it on myself. I agree, a lot of food have salt in it, mostly as a preservative IIRC. I remember I knew someone who use to serve in the military, he had to drive away for the day every July 4th because of the fireworks. Feel bad for the guy.
@Sunsy I think you predicted the future, when I went to my aunts house my brother had trouble with some wings
Also y'all I'm back and I can't wait to tell y'all 'bout my trip
Yup, at least for me, bones have always been a sensory thing. No matter how much people tell me "meat tastes better off a bone," I rather have no bones and not be able to deal with the bones.
I wish some could me more considerate when it comes to sensory and autism.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy I completed Quake 2 campaign and started call of the machine, but honestly, it's just boring. If you know what you're doing, the game offers no difficulty, the enemies are very easy to surprise. On top of that, it had the worst last boss I have ever seen in a video game and I do not joke, it was pathetic. Guy couldn't aim at me, no music, just the sounds of out of cover-> super shotgun -> back to cover -> repeat.
Laid Back Camp is my favorite anime of all times and that is a huge praise. I kinda wish I could just detach myself and go solo camping.
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@Sunsy Yeah, I wish people were more considerate. This time, it wasn't anyones fault, my brother ordered them thinking they had no bones. But there are a lot of time where no one considers him. And then I have to explain that he has autism and can't deal with some textures. Like when I was at my cousins house, we were gonna sing karaoke, but I had to tell them to take us all and the speaker downstairs because Troy's sensitive to sound. Though, we did, so points for them. @OwlHighway1Revisited No I'm actually my mom's child
