@MarioLover92 On the Splatfest: Well, shoot. I realize it's a game and all in good fun, but Money is the last I'd choose out of the lot from a moral perspective. I blame capitalism. XD Sounds like Team Love put up quite a fight at any rate!
There are quite a few historical buildings in my area, some better preserved than others...and none nearly as old as many of the structures I saw in Germany! Though that depends on the area. A lot of Berlin had modern buildings for very obvious reasons stemming from the 20th century. There was a lot of local, national, and even international coverage and support regarding that hospital fire at the time. I've only read historical extracts and heard a couple of secondhand stories from the event since it happened long before I was born. The lights in the town square really are something, I do have a couple of snapshots but they're personal. I really enjoy themed Christmas trees as long as they aren't TOO decked out; I think some people go a little overboard sometimes lol.
