@Princess_Lilly yeah I use my switch charger to charge all my devices as it’s a pretty-good quality 20V one.
The issues did start after the smoke exposure, I think I might wait a bit before I take action and replace it though.

@EllaTheQueen6 The charger is from a launch OLED, so about a year and a half.

@DiamondCore Yeah, might be time to replace it. Nintendo is known to sort of cheap out on, well, everything really.

The heat definitely wasn’t in my head, I could feel the device I was charging heating up a little (like 10-20 degrees above room temperature) as it was charging.
It could be an outlet issue though, so I have to do a bit of testing to make sure

@DiamondCore Yeah, before you replace the charger, try different outlets and chargers.

@EllaTheQueen6 Yeah, it might be.
Though this particular charging cable doubles as a power supply exclusively to the dock so I don’t think Nintendo was just able to copy-paste basic charging cable components into this one.

… also I just checked Nintendos’ website and apparently the charging cable is $30

@EllaTheQueen6 I’ve had 1 little kid use my charger a few times before to charge their switch, but no issues ending up occurring after I got it back.

@DiamondCore I see, I see. Yeah, the charger may just be dying then. Once again, try different chargers and outlets and stuff like that before you replace it.

Alas, the problem with ripping from CDs is you have to rename every track and mess with the properties. This is gonna take me ages.

@Princess_Lilly Because Owl is so weird that I can already hear Seef's laugh mocking me. And yes, he was in the car once, and he sent me a picture from the window, and oh my god it was just hills of sand with maybe 10 cm of dead grass. Seef lives in a real estate project (Upper middle class, so his family can actually afford that) and because he lives in a wealthy area, the grass near all the apartment buildings is all greener than my grass. So no, not all of Egypt is sand, but I'm not saying it isn't mostly sand, either. Though, as of right now he's in Saudi Arabia, then he's gonna be in Turkey, then he'll be back home in Egypt. Also, he may be Egyptian but he's never seen the pyramids lol. But yeah, you two are equally weird, y'all will get along
